Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Room in a recent house located a few minutes from the city center, on foot or by car according to your desires. The room is equipped with a double bed (160 cm) located on the upper floor of the air-conditioned house with private bathroom. On the ground floor: shared living room with TV, Wi-Fi. The courtyard will allow you to park your vehicle safely (recharging an electric car is possible for a fee of 5 euros) Breakfast is included, please note that there is no kitchen.

Please note: swimming pool closed from 10/01 to 31/03. Please follow the swimming pool rules (hours from 9 to 21 hours, no food, bath, etc. required) An inventory will be carried out at the end and at the end. To share with another couple, on the large terrace at the bottom an outdoor kitchen, fully equipped, is at your disposal.
