Holiday rentals with a patio in Barren River Lake

This was the perfect place for our family of four. We loved being across from Mellow mushroom. There was plenty of space and bathrooms are huge! We’re definitely stay here again but a heads up to bring your own body wash and soap.

This is a beautiful place. The place is actually nicer than the pictures. The beds where some of the most comfortable we have come across. They had everything we needed plus. Love the shower, extra big with great water pressure and water temperature. Furniture was very comfortable and nice. Overall a very nice stay, this place deserves the 5 stars they get.

Perfect, peaceful place for our one night getaway. The accommodations were spacious and clean. The land was beautiful and Lisa and Jack were responsive and very kind host.

It was the perfect spot to visit friends in Glasgow & to get transportation to & from the Kentucky Derby! We loved the old town character of the building. You could easily walk for coffee, restaurants, & local shops! It was well stocked in the kitchen, water filter on the fridge, plenty of ice, coffee pods, ect… The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had local soaps. It was an extremely easy to check in & come & go! I highly recommend this place! Don’t give it a second thought!

Was a cute place to stay. Convenient to Mammoth Cave and to Bowling Green. The train was not a issue. There are fans and a sound machine. Ear plugs are also provided. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay while in town for a wedding. Josie's place was super clean and nicely decorated. The area was quiet. Josie was a great communicator and sent helpful information and instructions. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Our stay at the Hotel Alexander could not have been better. The accommodations, location, and comfort were top notch. We are already planning a return trip!

We had an amazing stay at Mary Jane's place! The whole apartment felt cozy from the minute we walked in, and we loved the unique decor all around the house. The fresh flowers that she left in various rooms felt like a special touch. She also provided us with local restaurant recommendations, which we really appreciated, and we had the pleasure of meeting her serendipitously in one of them! We truly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

The house with the yellow door was the perfect little getaway while we were in town to visit Mammoth Cave for a couple of days. Had everything we needed and the snacks were an unexpected, but much appreciated surprise! We would stay here again or recommend it to those looking to stay in the area.

17 min to the Mammoth Cave National Park Visitor Center , 11 min to the Walmart, and 14 min to the Cave City Pizza which is really good 😊. The room is very spacious, with many beds, and the children had a wonderful time. There are a lots of fireflies in the backyard, and it’s beautiful at sunset. Gwynne is very friendly and proactive in asking about our needs. Highly recommended!

This home on the river is absolutely stunning and had plenty of room for my family to relax after long days in the sun. All of the sleeping arrangements were great too. The two decks in the back of the house were an outstanding place to drink our morning coffee. The views and scenery were fantastic and even saw many deer walking within feet of the house. Wow what a place!!! Will definitely be booking again for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s place. It’s a clean, cozy, and reliable spot. Perfect for small families, and our dog loved running around the backyard. The location is super convenient, just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and everything Bowling Green has to offer. One unique feature: there’s a beautiful old graveyard just behind the property. It might not be for everyone, but we found it peaceful and even enjoyed walking through it. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and Kim was incredibly flexible with our last-minute check-in change. We’d definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend. Michele was extremely helpful and friendly when we ran into a back road situation. The locals are extremely friendly and helpful as well. Felt like we were treated as family instead of strangers. The place was comfortable, clean, felt just like home, peaceful and was extremely close to Lake Nolin. Our son and nephew enjoyed fishing and just hanging out with one another. Mammoth Caves is only a half hour drive and there were even tourist pamphlets and restaurant recommendations as well inside this Airbnb. Thank you so much for your kindness and going above and beyond for when we needed your help. Will definitely come back and stay again. You and your husband are 5 star hosts!!!

We booked the Shug Shack for our singers we had for our annual fish fry. They loved the outdoor space with nature and Butters the resident cat. They said they had everything they needed and it felt like home. Tina was very responsive to my inquiries about the items the home had and was very friendly upon arrival. We will definitely use the place again in the future! Clean, well maintained, great space!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was super cozy, well-kept, and even nicer than the photos. Everything was smooth and easy from check-in to check-out. Would definitely come back!

To say that the cottages were amazing is just not enough. The surroundings, the stay, the furnishings were simply perfect for my families stay for my daughters wedding weekend. We were all able to be close as the cottages are just a hundred yards or so from the main house. This enabled us to enjoy so much together. I would highly recommend staying at both places if you have a large family and want a great get a way. I cannot say enough about the host and their generosity. They made the weekend magical.
