I had a really good time staying in Bilbao for 4 nights and 5 days..! The accommodation was tidy and the host was so kind, so it was nice. In the morning, you can have toast and make your own coffee with a moka pot. The bathroom was shared, but there was nothing too inconvenient. The location of the accommodation is not near tourist attractions such as the city center, the Guggenheim Museum, or the old town, but it was close to the subway station, so it wasn't a problem at all to get around, and it's actually 3 subway stations to the city center, so I don't think you have to worry about the location. Rather, it was nice because the accommodation was in a residential area, so I think it was an opportunity to see how the actual residents live. If you're planning to stay in Bilbao for a few days, I highly recommend it!

Mentxu was an excellent hostess. I responded promptly to all questions before arrival and during the stay. The instructions she gave us were clear and her suggestions for the area were very helpful. I would choose the same accommodation again the next time I visit Bilbao.
