Holiday rentals with lake access in Basque Country

Amazing property, absolutely stunning surroundings, incredible area. The house is ever so rustic and charming, a real gem. We felt so relaxed and at home. Hosts are charming and generous. Neighbour also very helpful. Oh yes, the cat, chickens and free eggs are adorable!!

I cannot thank Unai enough. The place was amazing, it had lots of space and was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Unai was also extremely helpful. He helped us with local recommendations as well as some transport plans for us, which really went above and beyond. It was so nice to be greeted by Ainara. I really appreciate that. I also enjoyed the cozy, homey feeling of the apartment. The place offers everything you might need. It is centrally located close to nice bars and restaurants and with a very nice view!

It is a lovely room: neat, clean, cozy, a nice seat with coffee/ tea and some goodies, nice view. A luxurious bathroom, everything was very clean. Rober is very friendly and the welcome was warm and attentive. Robert recommended us a great restaurant. The entire house is in a nice quiet place. We were only there for 1 night but could have stayed a little longer if we had the time.

We had a wonderful time visiting San Sebastian. The place was clean and Rafa was a lovely host.

We loved our time with Jesus and his lovely family. A happy place to take our family and experience the region. The house is large and spacious and has everything you need to cook, relax and enjoy the region’s activities, food, wine and sightseeing. In the autumn it’s cold and windy - be sure to bring hats and jackets and warm clothes at this time as the wind is very cold. The local bars and pinxto restaurants are fantastic and Jesus is a very generous and thoughtful host. We recommend staying here with friends and family and using it as a base to explore the surrounding region.

Overall a wonderful and rare find in this small village (so much space, private terrace, washer AND dryer, and air conditioning!!) We had a 6 and 3 year old and it was such a perfect spot- they even had board games and toys for us to use. Jaime was super responsive upon arrival and settling in. It's in a great part of town that is walkable to the main square and beach but far enough to not hear all the noise. Would happily stay here again if we had the chance! Eskerrik asko Jaime!

We stayed in Kristian's apartment for 2 weeks. Nothing is missing here... all kinds of nice gadgets... We loved our stay, the beautiful view (in nice weather it's like watching an HD movie. Even the (occasionally baling) donkey in the meadow fit the picture! We enjoyed (even more!) and would love to come back. Thank you Kristian, for letting us rent your apartment.

Great place in Ampuero, 15-20 minutes from Laredo by car where it is very easy to park. Beautiful setting with mountains as background. Very clean, very functional accommodation with a very friendly and lively village life on weekends. Village walkable for shops and restaurants. Beatriz was very attentive and responsive. Very nice hosting by her.

We stayed 4 nights at Goizes appartement and had a great time. The appartement is located in the City and there are a lot of bars, restaurants and supermarkets near by. The appartement was clean and cosy. Would recommend!

Maria is very nice and communicative. Nice place, close to old town and restaurants, store around the corner.

In order to go to the center we needed to walk a bit but the place was perfect

A really spacious and comfortable apartment, which allowed us to take a pet with us, a requirement that few places allowed us. On the other hand Gemma was very compressible and flexible with us at all times, which we really appreciate. It was a pleasure our stay at this wonderful apartment.

We were 3 adults and two little ones, and the little ones were thrilled. Lur's house is very nice and cozy. Also Lur is a very friendly person and we would like to come back!

Great place in a beautiful location with views out to the mountains. Marysol was a terrific host who responded to all queries instantly. She was even able to help with transportation in and out of Bilbao on Europa League Final day. Thanks again for a great experience.

Beautiful views all across the valley. Very well equipped place to stay - literally all options, you can use the kitchen, bbq outside or order a delivery pizza if you can’t be bothered. Lovely little warm swimming pool and big garden to relax or play table tennis. There’s even a football pitch and trampoline for kids. Beautifully decorated inside, lovely high ceilings in our room. Friendly staff - couldn’t have asked for more.

We traveled a group of 14 friends and felt right at home. Enjoying the common areas and the amazing views of this place. The attentive host at all times. We will definitely be back
