Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bath and North East Somerset

We had a fabulous stay at Dickon’s place. It was in a great location being in walking distance of all the downtown sights, but is on a nice quiet street. The back garden is lovely and we enjoyed some of our meals there. Space was very clean and comfortable and felt like quite enough room for us (we had 4 adults).

We had a lovely stay. Debra was a great host. Our grandson absolutely loved exploring the garden and the views were amazing. Plenty of room in the house for all of us (4 adults, a teenager and two infants). Downstairs is a lovely sociable area and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location to visit Bath and Longleat.

A fabulous period property for the authentic Bath experience. Very characterful house in a great local. A short walk to the city centre with some fabulous views.

Lovely area, great place especially master bedroom with balcony and lots of bathrooms. Very helpful hosts Lots of walks locally. One of the best things - sitting out in the sunny evenings with a glass of wine it was so quiet and peaceful

Ali's house is a lovely, comfortable and well-equipped place to stay. It's in a quiet area with easy access to the tow path for walking into the centre of Bath. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Dan & Natty’s place was a great spot for exploring Bath! The whole flat was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our visit!

What a fun period style home on two levels! You feel like you’ve stepped back in time. A large apartment within easy walking access to town. The kitchen boasts a table that seats 10 and is bright and airy. A washer and dryer near the downstairs two bedrooms is a huge plus. The bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The shower curtain in the deep tub was our only challenge as it wants to stick to you. The Paragon was once part of the elite sections of town. And it is complete with a garden for casual sitting. The views out the back kitchen/sitting room windows overlooks the beautiful hills and Georgian buildings. Such a perfectly preserved town of beautiful Bath limestone with a golden patina. Walk anywhere in town in ten minutes with few steep slopes. I found i loved sitting, reading and enjoying a cake and coffee in Waterstone’s Bookstore in the afternoon at their upstairs cafe. If you are coming to Bath do read Douglas Westcott’s Go Swift And Far.

This was a wonderful property located in a quiet part of Bath in the North end of town, a stones throw from the Circus, a little further to the Royal Crescent and Victoria Park. There are many top notch restaurants within a few block radius, but it is a much more low-key, relaxed vibe than the tourist section of Central Bath near the major attractions and pubs. Nearly everything you’d want to see is in walking distance, but if you haven’t been before, be advised that Bath is very hilly and you’ll be walking up the hill from many parts of Bath to return to this property. Ubers abound in Bath if you need one. Alison was a wonderfully responsive host who provided a great list of recommendations for the area. I highly recommend this property if you are spending time in Bath.

Helen is not a super host she is an exceptionally super host! Her apartments are always amazing and extremely comfortable! Communication is no problem and we love staying with her!

Good location and clean house

A+. Five stars. Total perfection. We absolutely loved staying here and will book again. The view is everything. The warmest breeze comes through the windows and I could look at those views forever. The beds were high quality, great linens, really nice kitchen. Good responsive Host. Clean building and super walkable. I really don’t know what to say other than I will definitely be booking this place again.

The flat is first rate. Extremely clean, all things needed was provided, and absolutely loved our stay. The only disappointment was the sofa/setee. it was lumpy and uncomfortable at times. expected to see the newer sofa as shown in some of the photos, and was very disappointed when seeing the old sofa instead.
