House holiday rentals in Battery Point

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days R&R or an extended holiday. We were a group of seven who had been travelling around Tassie, playing golf. We had two nights here for a lovely rest, and what a fabulous place to do just that. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We really didn't need to leave the house as there was plenty to do there, either relaxing by the fire, playing pool or relaxing in the spa and pool. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family reunion for a holiday or a few days catch up. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great location for family or friends to get together. Literally walk out the door onto a beautiful beach. Plenty of outdoor amenities available incl swimming pool, tennis, basketball hoop, billiards, kayaks etc. Quiet and peaceful area, but close to airport and to Hobart so very convenient. Great communication from Julie in advance who also met us on arrival and showed us in. Thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Chantelle was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I had a lot of questions, both for myself and on behalf of the group. Chantelle was always quick to respond and happy to assist. Her communication was excellent, and she was flexible with our check-in times, which really helped accommodate our busy schedule. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was so well-equipped, down to all the essentials, which made staying in really enjoyable and convenient. I’d definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Tassie.☺️

Nick and Georgi were exceptional hosts, responsive, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was a perfect space for our group of friends. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully equipped for a larger group, it offered everything we needed and more. From the stunning views to the comfortable communal areas with heated floors, every detail contributed to a truly memorable experience. The generous touch of fresh bread and wine on arrival made it feel extra special. The indoor pool and sauna were a standout feature and an absolute highlight of our winter getaway, everyone loved it. I honestly can’t recommend this home highly enough. A truly outstanding stay.

The view was absolutely beautiful and the host was really responsive, which we really appreciated. The space itself wasn’t the most comfortable or practical, especially for the price, but we still enjoyed our stay overall.

Such a lovely apartment! Very clean, thoughtfully renovated with well stocked kitchen and centrally located (albeit along busy street)! We had everything we needed. Woollies, Coles, a number of eateries and Salamanca Market are short walk away. We especially enjoyed huddling together in the living room each night to watch movies on Netflix together. Hosts were quick to respond to queries and very friendly.

Had a fabulous stay at this wonderful beach front property. Everything had been thought of to ensure we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Looking forward to returning soon.

The bush setting , the water views, the design and fit out are all top notch . Private and tranquil . We appreciated the expresso coffee machine ( and local beans in generous supply ) and other welcoming touches . Everything has been thought of in this immaculately presented house . Kerry and Marcelo’s home was just like the photos — warm, beautifully decorated, and super comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. Every time we needed something, we somehow found it already there, which made our stay feel so thoughtful and easy. Thank you both for creating such a lovely space — we’d love to come back one day!

Rachel was a fantastic host to deal with - she was incredibly responsive and helpful. Tasman House was the perfect property for our long weekend stay in Hobart - extremely walkable to absolutely everything you could need and the house itself was beautiful.

My husband and I and our two adult children have just finished a 3 night stay at Marty’s beautiful property. Very easy to find for our Uber driver and first impressions from us all was - Wow! Marty was so thoughtful and responsive - he offered an early check in should we have needed it and all the “house info” was all we needed for a warm and comfortable stay. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We were in Hobart to meet with more of our family and the 9 of us enjoyed a wonderful reunion around Marty’s dining table. We were able to prep food using all the kitchen facilities - plenty of crockery and cutlery - utensils and staples - used oven and dishwasher! Just a few steps away is Pigeon Hole Cafe and Westside Laundry Cafe - both sensational! On one outing we brought home Barilla Bay Oysters (out near the airport) and some Tassie Sparkling - yum! Full sets of wine glasses provided. Loved this Air BnB and very happy to recommend it. Thank you Marty and Alex.

John is a perfect host, he replies very quickly and was very easy going. the house is in a great location and I would definitely recommend staying here. if I'm ever in Hobart again I'd like to stay here again!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in Hobart! The house was warm and cosy, perfect for the cooler weather. The beds were super comfy with electric blankets, which made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had all the accessories we needed to cook and enjoy our meals. The location was also fantastic – close to everything we wanted to see and do. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hobart.

Rob's place is beautiful inside and out. The views are spectacular. It's super quick and easy to walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The house is simply a joy to be in - light filled, comfy and wonderfully styled. You'll find everything you need here. Rob is a generous and accommodating host, communicating openly and responding promptly. We look forward to our next stay at Rob's place!

Awesome stay at James. Incredibly proactive, kind and communicative host. House was really beautiful and all the little touches were covered. Easy to navigate the home, clear instructions, stacked pantry. Felt like home, not just a money maker. How all hosts should be. Thanks guys

This property is 5 star throughout. Very classy. Loved the art work. The bath was luxurious. Beautiful deck out back. Quality linen. Exceptional value. $9 Uber ride into CBD. Eating places also walking distance. Local Italian Club had amazing food and is only 400 metres away. (Anyone welcome). Highly recommend this property.

Georgia’s home was cosy and beautiful to stay in for a long weekend. There were plenty of spaces to enjoy, from the outside patio area to the big open-plan kitchen and the wonderful sunroom. The crafted windows and skylights make the house feel open and bright and we were nice and warm during our stay. The centre of the city is in walkable distance plus there’s a local corner store close by. Would highly recommend!

What a wonderful place to stay both the property and location. Mary is a superb host to boot. The place literally has everything you need, is super cosy and has the most epic views. Mary is an absolute legend, helpful and quick to respond. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here with my extended family, and it was perfect. The location was fantastic, and within easy walking distance into the city, Salamanca, Battery Point and Sandy Bay etc. The house was beautiful and well set up with comfy beds etc. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Only thing to consider is the car parking. We had an enormous people mover, so found it very tricky to park in the narrow car parking spots, so parked out the front. This was OK, as there were no restrictions over the weekend.

Tom and Amanda are always so hospitable. Proctors Road is a great location for exploring and the view of the Derwent is magnificent. Thanks for looking after us again guys. Kerry & Kerstein
