Chillhome R3 @ Park Avenue KCH

Muhammad LutfilRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I recently stayed at an Airbnb on Park Avenue, and it was truly an amazing experience, especially considering the value for the price. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The hospitality was outstanding, with Abigail as a fantastic host who ensured everything I needed was taken care of. A special shoutout to Madam Chan, who assisted me smoothly with check-in and check-out, adding an extra touch of warmth to the experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kuching and will definitely stay here again if I return. It’s a great spot that exceeds expectations!

Beautiful place to stay in Kuching as it is right next to the river and has a brand new look. The area also feels very safe with good restaurants within walking distance. Thank you to Artizan for providing a great place to stay in Kuching.

Ngapuh Homestead

Food for my soul. Very grateful to have spent 2 days in this beautiful place. You are embraced by traditional living with added luxury. The pace of life slows, you taste wonderful Local food most of it from the gardens, you sleep to the sound of cicadas and tropical rain, you swim in the river and walk the jungle trails, you rest and talk. Monday contributes to the local community. Thank you Lottie and family for such wonderful hospitality. This is for those who don’t need entertainment but seek authenticity, the opportunity to soak in the jungle and learn more about traditional life. I feel refreshed and blessed.

R&R Haven Guesthouse Bedroom 2

BethRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I loved my stay at R&R Haven. Sadly Ren was away, but Roger was a great host and I learned more about Borneo in my two days here than on the whole of the rest of my trip, and much about the very interesting life he has led. He kindly gave me a tour of the garden, where he and Ren grow an array of edible plants, and I got to sample some of these for dinner in a delicious jackfruit curry (with jackfruit, long beans and pandan leaves from the garden). I was a bit worried about the lack of aircon, but the temperature was fine with the ceiling fan. I don’t understand the review complaining about the road noise - yes you can hear the road, but there is very little traffic, especially at night. It’s the quietest place I stayed in Malaysia. It’s not a 5* hotel, it’s an authentic experience in a beautiful part of Borneo, which in my opinion is much better.
