Hike, snowshoe & cross country ski on trails nearby. Cook for yourself in the spacious kitchen, or visit a restaurant in Crosby, Ironton or Deerwood (2 - 3.5 mi). For nightlife, visit a bar or the brewery in town. Back at the cabin you can enjoy the firepit & watch the stars. Serpent Lake is lovely for summertime swimming & boating!

Please mind: This is a private home, it is not shared. :) Remodeled mother-in-law's house in the country beautiful area 20 acres to walk on. Restaurant and bar within walking distance less than 1 mile, great food and nice people. Lots of wildlife whether you like to fish,hunt, hike, or just sit back and take in the nature; Right on the snowmobile trails! I will also set up for special occasions w/ decorations or whatever you'd suggest; Birthdays, Valentine's, you name it! Great WiFi connection.

At this time, this is a seasonal cabin, so is unavailable to rent from mid-fall through early spring.

Falconhurst Lakeside Retreat

Falconhurst is a wonderful retreat from the rest of the world. This was our second stay there -- we love the unique style of the house and all the places to spread out. As we are all aging, though, navigating the spiral staircase "takes a little longer" for the adults in the group and having 1.5 baths can sometimes be a challenge. The property itself is so vast, compared to other spots on the lake. An unexpected treat was all the wild raspberries, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The lake is beautiful and peaceful -- with frequent visits from the little loon family out front, trying to protect their young one from the bald eagles and blue herons. We love this place!

We had an amazing time. Guy was very proactive and helpful in making sure we were all set. Gene showed us around when we checked and he was such a sweet guy (good luck Gene!!!). The cabin was in really good shape. The area is fantastic, beautiful view of the lake and the fishing set up was great! We will definitely try to make this an annual trip going forward.

We LOVED our stay at Tennille’s cabin. It was beautiful, peaceful, quiet and had everything we could ask for on a much needed get away. We are already talking about when we can come back. The cabin itself is so cozy and well appointed, you will not want for anything. The setting is idyllic and lovely. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here. Tennille was the perfect host in every way. 🩷
