“I would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay! My partner and I stayed here over memorial day weekend and had the most magical time. We were looking for a lakeside "up north" cabin-style getaway from the cities and Kim's tiny house far exceeded our expectations. My partner and I are both very active and we wanted to make sure we had plenty to do at the location we picked (so we wouldn't get bored or need to spend time driving around looking for activities) and this place was perfect. There were kayaks to use, two bonfire pits, a paddleboat, grill, board games, etc. We used all of these extras and they helped us make the most out of every single day, even during the rainy periods!! If you're looking for a place to make some memories, this is it. One evening, we were grilling on the deck and a huge bald eagle flew over to the property and sat perched just above us in a tall tree, only about 30 feet away. Amazing. We kayaked during sunset, had drinks on the deck and played board games, had a lakeside bonfire at night, roasted marshmallows, and listened to fish jump out of the lake. We took the paddle boat out on a sunny afternoon, watched Netflix up in the magical sleeping loft, and so much more. We did leave once the property once to go visit Riverbend Nature Center and walk some of the trails, which was extremely cool. We trekked through the area without a map and uncovered a waterfall, which was gorgeous and got lots of pretty photos! This tiny house is packed full of supplies and extras to ensure you are comfortable, you don't have to worry about things like AC, running out of paper towels, not having enough blankets, etc. The host really gets it and got you covered. I have a medical condition called narcolepsy which causes me to be a light sleeper and extra sensitive to noise, light, temperature, etc. Believe it or not, I was able to sleep totally soundly here. The neighbors are close but extremely kind and respectful of noise and privacy. I'm so grateful we picked this place. Highly recommend!!”

“We had a great time staying at John and Carna’s Adventure Studio. The space was sunny, bright and very comfortable for our family of four. Everything was very clean and felt like it had just been built out. The photos of the studio are very good, but it still felt bigger than I expected it to. We spent a lot of time on the private dock, the lake was very clear and deep off of the dock. We swam, and the kids played on the foam “lilly pad”. We caught a lot of Largemouth Bass, Sunfish, and a Northern Pike off of the dock. The four of us also took a tour of most of the lake on the pedal boat. On the second day, we drove over to the Cuyuna mountain bike trails and had a lot of fun exploring the trails in an area that we hadn’t been to yet. John and Carna were great hosts, very nice, friendly, and helpful. They were very good in communicating clearly and often, and were available whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay in the Adventure Studio again.”

“From the moment we checked in, we were blown away by the amazing star gazer. Jill and Joan were such great hosts. I remember walking in through the door and the vibe was so great! They had music playing, a diffuser going, with cute notes set up. In the fridge they had fresh eggs from their chickens, and beverages waiting for us. Everytime I would walk back into the treehouse, I would notice a new detail about the place. You can tell they put their heart and soul into decorating. There was not an inch of the place that they did not add some love to. I shared photos from the trip and already have friends booking to stay. Thank you both for making my 30th birthday party perfect! We plan to make it a new tradtion to stay here once a year ❤”
