Only 15 Minutes away from downtown Mobile and 35 Minutes away from Dauphin Island, this home is your private getaway. An open waterfront view, great fishing, wild ducks and situated in the middle of the city providing easy access to the Gulf Coast. Covered back deck with a gorgeous view, grill and you can even throw a TV out there to make it an outdoor living room.

The Getaway

This 1950 3 bedroom 2 bath island house was remodeled with a Mid Century vibe. Some of the original features have been kept for authenticity. "The Getaway" feels like you are stepping back in time. It is a wonderful place to ride bikes and you can walk across the street to launch our 2 kayaks. I love our floor plan and the fact that each of the three bedrooms are large enough for a private retreat while the open kitchen/living area is so comfortable for the whole group to be together.
