Holiday rentals with a kayak in Bayou Teche

Great lake house. Beautiful view and great location on the lake. Cindy is a wonderful host.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Fat Cat. The water views are expansive. Lots of different seating areas to spread out both inside and out. The kayaks, life vests, and the floating pad were great to have, and the kids loved using them and floating in the water. We did not have much success fishing.. but that's how fishing goes. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens clean, and lots of pillow options.

We enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. Our hosts were very friendly and show great hospitality. From recommendations on restaurants to bringing us fresh eggs they always were very hospitable. The house is very nice and homey feeling with plenty of room and amenities. Everything was clean and well organized. From the comfortable beds to the outside sitting areas we couldn't complain about Any thing. We highly recommend this booking to anyone who is coming to stay in the area. I know that the next time we are in town I'm going to try and stay again if it's available.

I traveled to the Baton Rouge area with a couple friends and our families and this was a great place to stay. We enjoy hanging out together so this beats being in separate hotel rooms and provides a lot more space and freedom for a lot better value. Nancy's place was nice and inviting. The king size beds allowed everyone a great night sleep. The dockby the water and deck provide ample area to enjoy the evenings. Nancy was very responsive about any questions you have while there and was more than willing to help on a moments notice. We all had a great time and may have to come back in the future. Thank you Nancy.

Michael place was great. Clean and exactly as described. Peaceful setting with outdoor activities. Family loved the stay and would definitely stay again.

We had such a great time here. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. The screened in back porch was amazing. The kids really enjoyed the dock fishing and kayaking. We had such a peaceful weekend and will hopefully be back again!

I would recommend it to everyone, but I might want to keep it a secret it is so charming. Little geckos and stripped skinks to greet you in the morning along with birdsong. The sounds and sights of waterbirds flying to roost at dusk. Yep, I'm coming back!

What a beautiful little getaway spot! We had family coming in from out of town and didn’t have enough room at our home to host everyone. Nicky provided the perfect lodgings for our out of state guests to experience a quaint trip to the country. Thanks again!

Quiet and peaceful place right on the water. When we had a question Brad quickly assisted. We were also assisted when taking family photos by Jennie. Kids were graciously allowed to use kayaks and the boat dock to fish. Great experience all around.

The neighbors are awesome. Plus the air bnb person Amber's was great she let me know about the neighborhood and where good places to go where. If I needed anything she text me right back.

Deborah’s place was absolutely perfect!! My husband took my 2 toddlers on a “guys night” fishing trip & they had a blast! The house was extremely nice & the quiet location was perfect! They caught fish very easily & Deborah was so helpful & one of the most accommodating & responsive hosts we have ever had at an air bnb. They can’t wait to go back!

We had the most wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! It’s perfectly located close to town, yet offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of serenity. One of our favorite moments was watching the sunset from the swing—such a relaxing and calming experience. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

Love this place and the host !! We will be back this summer for sure . Many things to do without leaving ! So clean too! Very peaceful!

Rachel and Reed are amazing hosts! Their home is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and clean! Anytime we had a question or concern they reaponded immediately. Hands down the absolute best experience at an Air B&B we have ever been to. They had board games, cards, and cornhole. The location is right by the state park, you can watch the boats go by in the bay off the beautiful back porch that is screened in. They have everything you need to cook, even big pots! We had our 13 and 14 year old and they had so much to do and enjoy, we didnt hear "I'm bored" at all! We cannot wait to book another trip here! Thank you again Rachel, Reed and Staff!

Wow, what an awesome hidden gem 💎!! We had the best time and everything was precisely as described!! Patti is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable!! Our daughter and her friends had a wonderful time kayaking down Petite Anse and sunbathing on the deck overlooking the bayou!! I had the best time fishing and soaking up all the scenery of the wildlife and landscape…. My husband said “he was in the clouds” whilst he slept in the very comfy bed downstairs!! Pristinely clean and very well stocked with all amenities!! All the sweet lil extras was a welcome treat!! TY Will definitely be back!! 💯 🙏🙌💖🎣🥂

A serene cabin in a great location with tons of nature and water nearby. We really enjoyed the pond, the canoe, and the outdoor games provided. Easy to get into town for supplies. Communication was quick and clear with the hosts.

Everything was great! Only complaint was out of the owners control and that is the power going out due to the storm.
