Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

An atmospheric quiet place to relax and recharge from today's busy life. We have converted the front house of our farm into an authentic gîte with all the comforts. There is plenty to do in the nearby area. Walks in nature (Grande Randonee) or old towns. Lakes and rivers. Wine routes and good food. Rent bicycles or canoes. Churches (Basilica of Vezelay) and Castles. Or relax reading a book on your terrace with great views.

Relax in this quiet and elegant accommodation on the Canal du Nivernais! Accommodation including: 1 bathroom, a living room with kitchen area and a sofa bed (new bedding) 1 bedroom with a double bed, all on 1200 m2 of land on the 16 locks. Perfect location for walks, 3 km from the swimming area of the Baye pond! Linens are not provided.
