Cute self-contained sleep out.

Self-contained with bedroom, bathroom and tea/coffee station. Opens onto a small patio in our super sunny garden. We live in the main house on the property but our guest house is at the rear of the property and is nice and private. We do have a small dog that is sometimes in the garden. He’s super friendly but can be kept away if needed. Great location, bus stop at the top of the road which takes you straight into CBD in 15min. Ferry is also located in Birkenhead which is about 5km away.

We stayed at Kauri View Cottage for a few days so we could catch up with family over Christmas. The cottage was a beautiful peaceful retreat after our social activities. I am a photographer and loved the flowers and trees but I was not quick enough to photograph any of the abundant bird life. We felt welcome when we arrived with the Christmas wreath on the door and Christmas tree inside. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable and we had a really enjoyable time there.

This place is peaceful and beautifully decorated. Lyn and Phil gave us such a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby, which was really convenient. Their adorable dogs and gentle cat brought us so much joy during our stay. We felt very comfortable and truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for everything!

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and it was great! Anne was lovely and made us feel super comfortable. Check in was a breeze, it was private and had everything we needed plus it was close to shops! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area :)
