We have many different types of wildlife around us, such as deer, hares, baby Leveretts in the spring & a resident barn owl and lots of birds. The Annex has just been fully renovated to a high standard. Its in a peaceful country setting but only 25 mins from the nearest beaches & 10 mins to the closest town.

everything was as described and expected, clean, peaceful holiday. we loved the en-suits for each bedroom and the open plan kitchen, frontroom dining area, it works great for large adult families. The lakes were nice to walk round and only a 30 minute drive to kings Lynn. we would highly recommend 😁

In my 8 years of staying at Airbnbs this was the best experience ever. I feel guilty to rate my stay as a five star given that's the same rating I have left for countless other properties that couldn't compare. The house has been so beautifully and carefully modernised it's almost an inspiration. But what does stand out is Sarah's attention to detail. everything so immaculately set out and everything we would conceivably need provider for. We had the best stay ever and words fail to describe how enthusiastically we recommend the place to all future travellers.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Mel's place. Mel was incredibly friendly and welcoming and gave us a great tour of the property on arrival, not to mention some extra treats to eat and drink, which was very kind of her. The property itself was fantastic. It was unique, fun and full of colour, but also comfy, relaxing and with the amenities you need. Outside was fab too, with plenty of space to sit or dine outdoors, or simply watch all the birds, butterflies and other buzzing wildlife hop between all the flowers. There's also a great hot tub surrounded by twinkling lights to enjoy as the sun goes down. On a practical note, there's off road parking, and shops and takeaways can be found 2 mins away in Marham. Pubs and restaurants are a little further away but only by 5-10 mins. We ate at the Kings Arms in Shouldham, which was very nice. Oxburgh Hall, about 15 mins away, is also well worth a visit. In short, lovely host, wonderful property, smashing weekend!
