Beatenberg vacation home

The chalet is very quiet thanks to a longer staircase (206 steps) that leads away from the street. A wonderful view of the mountains and the lake awaits you. An excursion box, satellite TV,CD player, radio, and garden furniture are at your disposal. Since the neighborhood is very quiet, the accommodation is suitable for people who appreciate tranquility. Not suitable for loud people, not suitable for parties! No wifi.

Amazing view from the balcony! The bus station was literally right in front of the building which made for easy and convenient travel back and forth from Interlaken. The buses to and from the city run every 30ish minutes until later at night- then it’s only every hour or so. The bed is super comfy, and the apartment has everything you need! Very easy to communicate and work with hosts! We would definitely stay here again if we return

“Mountain Chill” with Lakeview

Where do I start? We arrived in the evening before a national holiday (Ascencion). My wife and I wanted to find a market to purchase some food and drinks for the stay but everything was closed by the time we checked in (including restaurants) due to the holiday. But Dunja saved the day! She operates a bistro downstairs and offered to let us shop in her kitchen for food and drinks! Our favorite item was her charcuterie board with wonderful, local products! We were able to purchase just enough food and drinks for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning. Dunja's place was just remodeled a year ago and it is 5 star quality!! The location and view are AMAZING! . Everything inside is clean, modern and love the electric blackout shades! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom/shower were top notch. This location is only a 5 minute walk to the train station which made accessing different trips in the area very simple, no car needed! Thanks Dunja... we'll be back!! :)
