Cabin holiday rentals in Bedford County

This was a great experience for myself and some college friends. We stayed during the summer and while the normal attractions like skiing and tubing weren’t open we enjoyed the beautiful view, golf courses nearby, indoor pool and hot tub, and the fire pit. Highly recommended even in the offseason from skiing!

Had a wonderful weekend at a beautiful lodge. The house was clean with a great hot tub. We were able to use the kitchen to cook as it had most kitchenware. Keurig was a plus! Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels! Thank you EldwinJen!

Great little cabin. Simple and great for a fun stay.

Everything was amazing. I would have liked if the cell signal was better but im camping so that's not a big deal. it would be nice if there were more trails onsight. only a few fishing spots u could reach. And a boat would cost 800 a day which I couldn't afford. But all that said, litteraly everything else was perfect. Beautiful location, great ppl and they provided everything you need for a camping trip. I will definitely be back.

Had a great stay! Beautiful cabin, such a peaceful area and place. Would stay again, if they would have us. Really enjoyed the local mountain/resort as well, although not operating in full capacity when we stayed. Hope to be back in the area soon to more fully enjoy Blue Knob- which seems like a gem, as is this cabin.

We had an amazing stay at The Fox Den with our host, Janine. From start to finish, Janine was incredibly communicative, making the check-in and check-out process effortless. She clearly cares about creating a great guest experience, and it shows in every thoughtful detail of the home. The house itself feels like it was designed specifically for your stay—everything is intuitive, well-organized, and comfortable. We stayed with my wife and I, both sets of our parents, and our two toddlers, and it was the perfect setup for a multi-generational family trip. The backyard is spacious and relaxing, and the creek and nearby river gave our kids endless opportunities to explore and play. The location is fantastic: just 5 minutes from town for any last-minute essentials, and about 15 minutes from the marina and a resort on the lake. We’d absolutely return and recommend The Fox Den to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed getaway.

This was a beautiful place! It was out in the country with no one around. The cabin has an old time feel and decor. It had everything we need with so much room. We couldn’t have been more happy! We had a little bbq and enjoyed the area. Johnny was very friendly and responsive.

When we 1st pulled up, my family was beyond excited to run into the cabin! It was spacious and had all the bells and whistles. The bed was soft. The kitchen was so helpful all the things we needed to have a family dinner in. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The on site amenities were the best! Pool for the kids, playground for smaller kiddos, horseback riding. There was a family event there at the time we visited, who use the horse and buggy looked so amazing. we had an amazing time and look foward to returning. Thanks so much for having us.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 3 to take a quick last minute over night trip. We loved it so much we wished we had more time for a second night. The host was so easy to communicate with, extremely responsive and the information provided prior to check in made for the easiest arrival we have ever experienced. The entire resort was clean, quiet and exactly like you see in the pictures provided. The view of the stars was breathtaking and we can’t wait to come back and relax again soon!

The place was as described. It was easy to find and clean. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities to cook with. Rachel answered questions quickly and helpful. It was a great location to visit family. We will stay again if in the area and is available.

Very nice little cabin and the campground is very peaceful and a beautiful area, especially in the Fall when we went. The road leading to the campground is very steep and curvy, so be careful driving in, but once you get to the place it’s easy to find and very nice.

We had a great stay! The location is beautiful—surrounded by a lush forest view that felt peaceful and private. The space was perfect for our group; we had room to spread out, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together. It has a unique, cozy vibe that made it feel special. We especially loved spending time out on the deck—such a great spot to relax.

We were really only in the cabin to sleep because we were out fishing most of the weekend but it was definitely a nice place to lay our heads. It was clean, welcoming roomy and bright.

The cabin was very clean with plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed our time at Heritage Cove and look forward to future visits.

Had a great time! Place was clean and close swimming pool playground music. A lot of Kids to do. Just a few suggestions. More toilet paper. Only had one roll for 5 people for 3 days. I did bring my own Also tv and internet did not work even after several tries and contacting host. We survived bit kids needed some down time to relax. Over all place was wonderful.

It was the relaxing evening my family and I needed. Very cozy we made s’mores on the fire and cooked dinner on the grill. We enjoyed ourselves great getaway!!
