Beautiful place !! My family and I had a great time in the area.. lots of restaurants and things to do. Perfect getaway not far from home. Definitely will visit again

This was the most peaceful expierence staying at the Chubb Retreat. The first Airbnb where we had no complaints about cleaning. if you don't like the outdoors then this place is not for you. It was a nice and relaxing get away we needed before our annual Holy Convocation to refuel and decompress. There is something to do here for everyone. We had ages 2 thru 60 plus. Everyone loved it so much, that we found our annual get away. The host was very responsive, we had some minor issues and notified the host and they ready to help resolve the issue. Even was willing to offer. late check out. Thankfully we did not need it but appreciated the accommodation. If you want a place that feels like home and the host make you feel welcome. Then this is the spot. Our group (especially the young adults) can't wait to go back next year. The home is off in the woods but about 30 to 50 minutes from surrounding towns and about an 1hr from Hersey Park. Great family vacation spot for large crowds.

The place was well represented in the photos. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was clean and fully functional. The property was beautifully maintained both inside and outside. This was ideal place to recharge. We were provided with everything needed to have a relaxing trip. The setting is unique and serene. The sounds of nature were all around us. It was obvious to us that the hosts put a lot of care into this home.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, comfortable cabin by the river. We shopped in several of the cute shops, and had two delicious lunches, in town; we made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin. It’s a great spot by the river. Erica was friendly, attentive, and responded quickly when we had questions.

~5 Star Cabin in the Woods~ Beautiful, secluded property with a pristine natural waterfall right in the backyard! The fire pit and hot tub are our favs. The entire place is SPOTLESS! The extra fresh towels and comfy bed linens are a lovely bonus. Plus, a fully stocked kitchen! Bill is an amazing host. He thought of everything that you could ever need! He was super responsive, informative, and accommodated all of our needs. Can’t wait to return!!!

The house is beautiful and cozy, with lots of natural light and high ceilings.!…The kitchen is equipped with all the basics (cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, pans). They even provide coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, seasonings, and paper towels. A welcome basket with everything you need to make marshmallows for the kids was included. The bathroom is very clean and modern (they even provide toothbrushes). I mention this because, For me, details count a lot when choosing a place to vacation and relax, and the most important thing I felt at home away from home!…

We had 6 people in our group, which included a 5 year old. Everyone had enough room to spread out and the kid loved the game room, upstairs playroom and player outside. We are going to miss coffee and wine out in the screened in porch morning/night. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful remote cabin very close (8 minutes) to The Chetremon Golf Course & Event Center. Can't recommend enough!!

cozy , convenient to bushkill falls and the water gap. air conditioning is nice in a heatwave. porches and windows nice if it is cooler out. while it is small everything is tucked away and un clutteted. perfect get away!

Michael was an excellent host, he responded quickly to all of my messages & worked with me on last minute changes. The cabin was absolutely beautiful & the view, breathtaking. I highly recommend this mountain cabin for a relaxing escape.

We had the most magical stay at this cozy and charming cabin for our weekend getaway to Cook Forest! The views from the windows were absolutely breathtaking — especially while watching the rain fall through the trees. The reading nook felt like something out of a storybook, and our pup felt instantly at home with all the thoughtful touches, from the basket of toys to the convenient tie-out. Every detail made this place feel warm, welcoming, and peaceful. It truly was the perfect weekend retreat. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely beautiful and secluded, surrounded by forest and serenaded by the sounds of nature. The home was very clean and spacious, with a stunning backyard and hot tubs that were spotless and so relaxing. Just a heads-up—the loft is accessed by a steep ladder, which wasn’t a problem for our daughter but could be a challenge for some. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely come back again!

Our stay at Marina’s place was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was spotless and super cozy for my family. Marina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants/things to do and answering all of our questions prior to and during our stay. Even though it was raining pretty much our whole stay, we loved being able to relax in the sauna & hot tub! Extra points for being so welcoming of our little pup too! We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely book again!

My stay with Roxanne and Stan was phenomenal! 5 out 5 stars! The house was super clean and looked exactly like the photos. The hosts were super responsive and extremely clear and helpful in all their responses before, during, and after the trip. The house and scenery are beautiful. I would absolutely recommend staying here and with them!

This is our third time staying here and as always it is wonderful. This house is a true gem! When you are there you just feel at peace. The house is always very clean and stocked with towels and bedding. The kids love the pool table downstairs. The front porch rockers are so relaxing. We will be back I’m sure!

We loved our stay here and cannot wait to visit again, a path (slightly over grown at first-- be aware of ticks, but thats a given while hiking-- but still very manageable and opens up shortly) led us to a beautiful waterfall area and the state park leading to stairs and 2 more waterfalls. Totally walkable, and a gem to have in the backyard. The little touches made it feel above and beyond, toiletries, slippers, fire starters, umbrellas etc... Milford which is an adorable town is nearby and tons of waterfalls and hiking around. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the daybed where we enjoyed our morning coffee and nightly card game.

Our Cousins Getaway Weekend at the cabin was extraordinary in all ways!! We were thrilled with the accommodations and have never stayed in a cleaner, more well apportioned space. The cabin is welcoming, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable! It was the perfect location for a weekend of cycling, sewing, and relaxing! We appreciated Stephanie’s hospitality and her thoughtful communications before, during, and at the end of our trip. We were also very grateful to Stephanie’s husband for going out of his way on a rainy day to deal with a trash situation. Stephanie and Rand were excellent hosts and we will definitely check the dates available when planning our next adventure to the area!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. It’s very peaceful and lots of wildlife to watch while seeing the beautiful mountains in the background. It had everything we needed to be comfortable, including small details like ingredients for s’mores. Great place for a retreat!

We were in PA visiting family and I always do Airbnb. I came across this listing and thought it'd be perfect. and it was!!! Donna met us at checkin and answered any questions. She showed us around and told us some suggestions on things to do. We loved the peacefulness of the cabin and it's surroundings and Donna was very quick to respond and keep us updated on anything we needed to know. We fished all week and I found the porch so peaceful to have my morning coffee and ready my book. I have to admit that this was the first place I've stayed that we didn't feel the need to Run Run Run. we were content staying in and it was nice and cozy. we will definitely stay here again if our schedules align!!!!

I liked the house. It was new, clean and private. EV charger is an extra plus. Penn’s Cave and wildlife is a good place to visit and Harshbarger’s Sub is a restaurant I recommend. If I have to mention something to improve, there were lots of ants. I highly recommend this place.
