A great place to get away. The boys enjoyed being able to walk right down to the river to go trout fishing. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch reading a book. The weather was not as nice as what we would have liked but plenty of board games to keep everyone busy and off their phones. Hearing the rain on the tin roof porch was so peaceful. Look forward to try to come back and stay in the place closer to the river they have just built. This was a quick trip, we did not even try the hot tub!

If you are looking for a quiet, well-equipped location where there is room for everyone, you’ve found your place. While a little quirky, the layout has all sorts of nooks & crannies for you to enjoy… multiple porches, multiple fireplaces, multiple seating arrangements. The views are just beautiful & the house is cozy & well-equipped. We were a family group of all adults in for graduation at App State. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house more. Ann was a great communicator & we would definitely purely stay here again. There are a lot of steps involved to enjoy everything but also many options on the main floor of the house if you have mobility issues (we had older grandparents in our party and no young children). Ann’s notes about local shops & restaurants were detailed & helpful. Great stay!

My wife and I, along with our daughter, her husband, and their 3 young boys had a very enjoyable stay. The children particularly liked the game barn. We all enjoyed the cool mountain air and the peaceful vibes while sitting on the outside swing along with making s'mores over the fire pit, and enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck is amazing. Driving up to and down from the house was a bit challenging, with very steep climbs and hairpin switchback turns, but the view from the house at the top was well worth the drive. All things considered, we all had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend staying here

Cabin was found as described. Enjoyed the hot showers and comfortable bed (king). Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend stay, and wished that the hot tub was under an attached awning to keep the towels dry. Other than that we appreciated the thoughtful touches in the cabin, quiet neighborhood, the deer out back in the mornings, as well as the robin that knocked on sliding glass door for attention. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

Our stay at the Yeehaw Lodge for an extended weekend getaway was amazing and the view of Grandfather Mountain from the cabin was absolutely stunning! The cabin was exactly as described and very well stocked. Liz's instructions were clear which made check in and check out a straightforward process. We look forward to booking a stay at the Yeehaw Lodge in the future.

Our family had the absolute best experience staying at Debbie’s incredible cabin this past weekend! We gathered to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday with kids and grandkids, and we truly could not have pulled off such a memorable and successful weekend without this amazing home. The cabin itself is breathtaking — spacious with three floors to spread out, a pool table that kept everyone entertained, tons of board games for family time, and a hot tub overlooking one of the most stunning mountain ranges we've ever seen. Being the very last house at the end of a mountain road made it feel incredibly private and peaceful — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. That kind of seclusion is rare and made all the difference. Everything in the house was in perfect working order — you can tell Debbie takes great care of the property. From start to finish, her communication was fantastic. She was responsive, thoughtful, and quick to take action on anything we needed. 1 MILLION STARS!!!!!!

I really enjoyed staying here in the mountains the location was amazing (very close to downtown banner elk). Michael was very friendly and also helped in making our trip an enjoyable time by recommending a lot of great options. We will definitely be back soon!

Great cozy spot in Banner Elk! Only 15-20 minutes away from Boone. It was very nice being in the trees and hills. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy place close to Boone.

We had a great stay at William's place. it was clean, peaceful and we felt right at home. The grill and hot tub made it a great place to relax, unwind, and cook out after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this location for 3 nights with a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 young kids). The moment we checked in, we fell in love with the place that was private surrounded by the nature. The sound of the nature and creek was so peaceful throughout our stay. The host went Extra mile and provided access to Internet, DVDs, a lot of games to keep us entertained. We took an advantage of the trail on the property and it was totally worth it. The host really helped us recommend some places near by to visit which was very helpful. The picture doesn’t do the justice of this great property. We’d be back.

First time staying in an airBNB, and this place was great! Getting to the spot was a little testy at times, the roads to the cabin are very small and the roads are curvy. Overall the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, very clean! Jared had thought of everything, samples of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, full size shower bottles, pantry with snacks, board games, etc. it was great staying here with my family and I’d 100% stay at any other property he’d have available. We had a running joke in the house “thanks Jared!” Because we’d just find more amenities he technically didn’t have to offer us! Pls stay here, it was absolutely great!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat while attending our daughter's wedding in Boone. The home is beautifully furnished, cozy, and perfectly located with easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi and spending time on the spacious outdoor decks — perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The host thought of everything, and the property felt like a true home away from home. We can't wait to come back again!

Stayed here for work. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view is absolutely stunning. So peaceful laying in the hammock at night watching the humming birds and listening to nature. I felt right at home. The place was so clean as well which I really loved. Can’t wait to visit again:)

We absolutely LOVED the Hideaway! It was the perfect escape for our 7th Anniversary! Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. Brandi and Justin have done a beautiful job thinking of all the details. We cooked dinner on Saturday night and had all the utensils and pans we needed. This is the perfect quiet cabin for anyone who is in need of a restful weekend away. I was hesitant about no air conditioning at first, but it worked out well with the windows open and the fans going. There was plenty of circulation throughout the home. In the morning we enjoyed waking up to the birds chirping. We will definitely be planning a trip back! Thank you Brandi for everything!

The house was fantastic. It was perfect my family, including my mother and two young kids (Ages 3 & 5). The patio was exactly what I wanted, a view of the mountains, peaceful mornings with coffee. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was super clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again! I also loved that otter. Falls was so close to the house, the family went hiking one day. And grandfather vineyard was also very convenient another great plus for the kids with the river and rocks to play in.

Could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home was beautiful and felt so peaceful. We actually fed blueberries to a group of deer off the deck. Will definitely stay here again.

The cabin is even more beautiful than the photos convey. Very private and peaceful. Well stocked coffee / tea bar. Well stocked bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. An absolutely gorgeous place to get away and unwind.

This place cannot have any cuter and we really lucked out with the weather. It was like arriving into a winter wonderland. With a short drive to Beach Mountain ski resort and a worthwhile drive to Banner elk for some amazing restaurants. We definitely recommend this day for anybody trying to spend some time in the mountains of North Carolina
