Chestnut Lodge

Chestnut Lodge is situated in an acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, originally the cow barns on the farm. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated one of the cow barns to the Lodge adding all the original character with salvaged exposed oak beams throughout and furnished to a luxury standard. The 1940s cottage is a gorgeous grade II listed period property in East Bilney, blending a traditional cozy 1940s interior with modern features such as underfloor heating, rainfall shower, smart TV (no Freeview only streaming services). This traditional almshouse is all ground floor allowing accessibility to all guests & is able to accommodate 4 guests in 2 rooms. The property also boasts a wood burner, private parking, gardens,and a short, beautiful walk away from a country pub.

Designed by renowned Norfolk architect George Skipper The Boathouse sits in a totally unrivalled position looking over the beautiful lake and grounds at Sennowe Park, next to Pensthorpe Nature reserve (recent home of BBC’s ‘Springwatch’) and just a 20-minute drive from the North Norfolk coast at Wells-next-the-Sea.

The Barrel house has been lovingly restored to provide a stylish, multifunctional space for Airbnb guests. The vaulted ceiling adds to the feeling of space. It has a bespoke kitchen, private courtyard and secure garden, underfloor heating and is equipped to make it feel just like home. We provide everything you need from bedding and towels to coffee pods and bin liners. It is a perfect cottage for any couple to escape to.
