Stunningly beautiful, well equipped and lovingly appointed apartment in the quiet and characterful heart of the old town of Mertola. Wonderfully peaceful. Lots of space and a very kind and helpful host. I could not recommend this place more. An absolute joy.

We loved our stay at Anne’s place in the most peaceful part of the Seixe valley, so much nature and beauty. Situated on Anne’s expansive land which has undergone an ambitious reforesting effort following a wild fire a few years ago. It’s incredible to see their efforts and the land being rejuvenated, life is everywhere. The space is beautifully designed, lots of space and sunshine, plus all the amenities you could need Anne is friendly and so generous with her time and suggestions of how to explore the area. We’d love to return

Quiet village next to Alqueva, perfect for two hot days in early June. The house is huge and beautiful to die for... We loved the sunset in the courtyard, and the sky constantly being torn apart by swallows, storks and peacocks... Perfect for recharging batteries, I knew it. Thank you!

really great communication from start to finish. Accommodation very clean and walkable to Moura which is a beautiful town. Also close to the river beaches which was recommended by Joaquim and I would also recommend. Also, special mention to Joaquim and his wife for coming to our aid when we got a flat tyre as we left the town. They immediately reassured us with kind words and called someone to come to assist us at the side of the road. They helped us despite being out of the town and on holiday themselves!! Cannot thank them enough. So kind and helpful people. Very organised and have good instructions and recommendations of the area, thanks again

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

We spent a few days at Alexandra’s place and it was exactly as described if not even more. Extremely well equipped house in a stunning location. We spent days swimming in the ocean, nights admiring the night sky which is stunning in Porto Covo. The house itself is super cool yet very practical. We really loved our stay!

What a little gem in a great location. Has everything I needed and more. Will definitely be back to stay a little longer. Just a heads up that it’s not very private, as goes with an annex :). The owners are right next doors and so are possible other renters. When you sit outside, other people might be around. Still absolutely loved it, but it’s good to know :)

We had a wonderful time at Três figos. The nature and surroundings are so beautiful and the garden is made with so much love and care. The house looks cute and it’s clean, the kitchen perfectly equipped and the bed extremely comfortable :) We went on some hikes in the area and beaches are also in reach within 25-30 minute drive. Perfect stay for a peaceful escape in nature for some days. I would love to come back!

Tastefully decorated apartment. Equipped with all the essentials. Beds are very comfortable. Friendly welcome. Constant availability for questions and very helpful. We really liked the location as a starting point for our hike on the Fischer Trail. Also, the city center is right around the corner. Recommended!

The house was spotless and corresponds to what is presented. Very nice and welcoming space.

Nuno always responded immediately and helped us if we had any questions. Check-in was flexible, nice hosts. We had a lovely week.

The apartment was very nice, corresponds to the description and the photos. Amenities of the apartment were also perfectly adequate. In the low season at the end of October, it was also no problem that the apartment is located on the ground floor and the bedroom windows go out to the street. The noise of the cars was manageable due to the low traffic and the pedestrians in front of the window as well.

The apartment is very big and has everything one needs for the stay in Odeceixe. Highly recommended! The host Claudia was always available and very kind.

Maria’s place was a fantastic find in a beautiful town - spacious, filled with light and very comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need to self-cater in a fully functioning and well stocked kitchen. Maria is a wonderful host, meeting us at the property to let us in and showing us around. Despite not being able to speak each other’s language, she was very friendly & easy to understand & communicate with. She was also extremely generous in leaving us with many thoughtful items that made our stay more comfortable and memorable. The apartment is in a quiet location within a short walk to the harbour in the old town with its beautiful vistas, bars, restaurants and shops. There is ample parking straight across the quiet street & opposite the front door to the property.

Anabela’s beach apartment is a real gem in a gem of a town. The view from the window of the apartment is gorgeous with waves crashing below. You can sit at the table watching the ocean. The apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable and is spotlessly clean. Anabela is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and accommodating – in short, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her apartment and will definitely plan to return if we visit Portugal again.

We really liked the location, with easy parking and in a quiet area. The stay went very well, the apartment was spacious and very pleasant, nothing to point out.

I had an amazing stay at Cláudios!The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and caring, making sure every detail was perfect for my visit. The apartment was fully equipped with everything I needed, impeccably clean, and centrally located. It was close to everything, making my trip convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!

The apartment is fine. Beautifully clean and the little garden is wonderful, with direct exit from the kitchen, great for breakfast and eating. Very good location, beaches, supermarket, cafes, restaurants within easy walking distance. Market hall and adjacent very nice cafe/bar 2 minutes away. Actually, only the amenities could be improved: there are a little too few dishes to be able to really use the dishwasher effectively. And if you don't want to buy everything on site, you should bring a few things, actually everything you need and you don't necessarily want to buy in too large portions on site: spices, oil, dishwashing tablets (I think: two were available), detergent (ditto), possibly toilet paper, coffee (four "Delta capsules" were available, delicious, - not Nespresso-compatible). Possibly a multiple plug (there are only a few outlets available, you have to change it more often - not quite as tragic). Sheet was a bit small. Overall, however, recommended!
