Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bejuco

The location would have been difficult to find so Johann met us in Parrita and we were able to follow him, so arrival at the right location was uneventful. We found Johann and Elke to be great hosts as they respected our privacy yet were always available anytime we wanted to contact them. They were more than willing to answer any questions, provide us with everything we needed for our stay. In addition, the sofa upon arrival was broken and once Johann was informed he went out the following day and purchased a new one for us as well as providing us with a brand new microwave. The pool was great, scenery was awesome. We found it to be a peaceful, relaxing surrounding.

We had a lovely time. Andres was very kind and responsive. We loved the private pool and being right on the beach. We enjoyed the sunsets and the daily visits from the monkeys passing by!

Absolutely wonderful! I cannot describe how beautiful the place was. Concierge was wonderful, extremely attentive and responsive. Group of 7 stayed and had lots of space. The pool was definitely our favorite part. House had everything we needed from spices to extra towels to air fryers. 10/10

I had a great stay at William’s place! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. William was also very responsive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I’m completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great stay!

This place was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The house with the open layout was perfect, the pool and the waterfall right out back was perfect, and then 20 steps to the beach. It’s not a tourist area at all so it’s pretty much a private beach. Israel, the caretaker was absolutely incredible! He was so nice and kind and helpful. He responded to anything that we needed. If you need something, ask him, he is the man. If you are going to do a mangrove boat tour, don’t book elsewhere, look no farther. Israel has the boat 10 steps from the driveway. He took eight of us on an amazing mangrove boat tour and saw monkeys and crocodiles and the mangroves. He is so good with kids! He just wants the kids to have a good time. We really appreciated him and enjoyed hanging out with him. Do you want to ride horses on the beach? No problem, he’ll have horses out back whenever you want them! And everything he set up for us, we felt was pretty reasonably priced. Thank you for an amazing week!!!

The house is very nice and safe, ideal to stay with pets as it has good space and there is no danger of the dogs going out. The hosts are very attentive and quick to respond to any questions, and although it is not central it is quite accessible to move to the beach🙂

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home tucked into the jungle. The setting is very serene, with the sound of the river always in the background and the plethora of wildlife all around. The bed was very comfy, so a good nights rest was practically guaranteed. There are a few things I would note for anyone considering the home, especially if this is your first visit to the area. It is a 10+ minute rocky drive to the home off the main road, not a big deal with a sturdy car. Especially during rainy season, there’s a good chance you’ll lose power at some point, but seems to be restored quickly. Most places, including this home, discouraged you from flushing toilet paper, an adjustment from home. Being that this place is so small, there’s not a ton of privacy between the bathroom and bedroom, and the living area is not meant for lounging. That’s what the outdoor spaces are for! This was an experience unlike any other we’ve had in our previous visits to CR, I highly recommend it!

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

The place was very nice, safe, clean and quiet. Excellent place for a vacation with the family. There was also an excellent weather and very helpful and kind people. I congratulate you. We would be happy to come back.

Beautiful house, beautiful view and the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The groundskeepers (I’m not sure if that’s what the correct title is) were so wonderful - they live right next door and brought us fresh coconuts, and made sure we had everything we needed! Very kind people! The host is incredibly helpful and responsive as well! My one suggestion is (since this is a duplex), if you are hoping for privacy, request to book both sides, as the pool, balcony and rooftop are all shared spaces! Luckily, we had great neighbors! This place is in a great area too, we enjoyed the quiet beach, close by restaurants and there is also an urgent care, pharmacy and some cute little shops close by!

I stayed here for my birthday and graduation and Melissa the co- host, did such a good job, my friend and her planned a surprise birthday decor for me and I saw it once I finally arrived. It was beautiful. She communicated so well and did such an amazing job. Thank you so much Melissa. Also- the place was SOOOO clean and nice. It was such a beautiful stay. I would stay here again 10/10

This is a thoughtful loft that was obviously planned with an eye for details and the guests in mind.

The place that we exactly need for my family. My dad was from the area for the last 30 years, we were needing a peaceful place around the area to celebrate his life after his passing one month ago. Margarita’s place was just perfect to fit a big family of 14. Jesus and Irene always eager to help and be there every time we need them. I really appreciate all the help and highly recommend it if you are looking for a place for a big group or family reunion.

This is a fantastic place to stay. It really is two hectares all to yourself, and the surroundings are even more peaceful than the listing describes. The creek at the bottom of the property is delightfully fresh to swim in. But, what makes this an even better place to stay is the fact that it has everything you need - from beer glasses chilled in the freezer, to plenty of towels, and a great host. Honestly, this is one of the better Airbnb's you can stay at, simply because the host has thought of details that their guests would like. It's not luxury, but it is a perfect home environment, and one me and my family will be returning to.

Evelio and his father run this delightful cabin community in the mountains. They even have a restaurant on site! In the morning Evelio hiked with me up to the waterfall.

The place is beautiful,very quiet and away from the noise of the city. Everything was very clean and the owner was quick to answer any questions.... I definitely plan to return

Beautiful and rustic, as close to local living as you can get with some comforts. It has everything you would need, but not for those who want luxury. if you like to glamp and can be OK with some visitors, this is an easy, charming place to stay. We had a cute frog in the bathroom (and don't leave food out), you will enjoy this lovely place.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and an abundance of birdlife—it’s a paradise for nature lovers. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our group of four. We especially enjoyed the BBQ ranch and picking fresh fruit right from the trees. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the small gym was a nice bonus. It’s secluded yet close enough to town for supplies. Definitely recommend a 4x4 vehicle as noted.
