Situated in a quiet shared courtyard, far from the stress of modern life. Montaillou, rich in history, welcomes you year-round. The exceptional natural surroundings also allow for a wealth of activities, hiking, mtn biking, cycling, horse riding, snowshoeing, skiing…….. Not forgetting the cultural highlights of the surrounding area. Enjoy !!

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood stove for the winter. We deliver a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

The 1700's 'Mountain Village Studio' in Nohèdes (990m alt.) has been fully restored in 2021 with a contemporary interior design overlooking the village square of Nohèdes with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location with a small terrace ensures a quiet and peaceful setting. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

Charming recently renovated cottage set in the heart of a 70-hectare organic vineyard estate, in the Pays Cathare, close to Carcassonne and its many castles. It offers stunning views over amphitheatre-shaped vineyards and the surrounding countryside, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Located next to the Belgian owners’ farmhouse, it remains entirely private, surrounded by nature. During your stay, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

Beautiful stone house in the heart of the village. The garden is very nice and allows for moments of relaxation in the cool air. The house has 4 bedrooms, including a children's bedroom. I offer 3 bedrooms with bathrooms that can sleep 6 people. The 4th can also be opened if needed, but it is necessary to let me know when booking. An additional fee will be applied. You will have everything you need for a stay 2 steps from the lake. Multiple hiking options nearby.

The village lake, within walking distance, offers a beautiful setting for swimming and picnics in summer.
