In the middle of the Ahlenmoor in very quiet surroundings stands our single-pitch roof house with a green roof, completed in 2024. With lovingly designed and high-quality furnishings, it is an ideal starting point for hikes in the forest and moor and at the numerous moor lakes and for bird and wildlife watching. MoorIZ with Moor Railway is within walking distance. Bike tours to the North Sea and Elbe beaches (e-bike). Outdoor sauna for common use with 2nd residential unit as well as charging station for electric cars available.

After several family vacations and celebrations with three young children, and in light of the ongoing climate change, we decided to create a sustainable accommodation for active people, especially those with children! Otterndorf: This green seaside town has a lot to offer. From our house with two separate apartments, you can see the giant containers passing by, about 1km away along the dike. In an idyllic and very quiet location, the garden overlooks a horse meadow!

Wasserturm Cuxhaven

The 1950s industrial monument found its new determination after 35 years of hibernation in 2003. Since then, the former water tower has been available to vacationers who are looking for something special with every comfort. On four floors, a top renovated home was created, in which old elements of the water tower were stylishly integrated. This circumstance and the loving furnishings contribute to an inimitable atmosphere. The pictures give you a first impression.

Cuxhaven is about 20 minutes by car from Kehdingbruch. Otterndorf/Elbe 8 minutes by car.

Our apartment is located in the idyllic village of Ihlienworth directly on the Medem. It is located on the first floor and is one of the two bookable apartments in our cozy vacation home. The apartment has been completely renovated and has a modern kitchen, a bedroom with separate anteroom, a spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower and underfloor heating, a large living and dining area with sofa bed and a fireplace for the cool days! A fully equipped new kitchen, as well as games and books for young and old are part of the inventory. The Soletherme with sauna paradise is within walking distance and worth a visit. It is about 2.5 km to the beach and play barn. Restaurants and bakers are very close to the cottage.
