The quiet neighborhood with birds singing, waves lapping on the shore, and the breezes coming through the screened deck doors make sleeping in that oh so comfortable bed an overnight vacation. You will certainly get your rest! If you come from the North, make sure to stop in for a take out supper at Off-The-Hook Seafood place at the Dunkirk Pier before the last 5 miles to Wisteria Cottage.

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

Overall, Amanda’s place was adorable and a great getaway for a long weekend! Amanda is very responsive and kind. We had a few hiccups with the house (technical things) and she was very responsive and willing to help as much as she could despite not being in the area. It is a tight space for more than 6 people. There were 7 total in our group so keep in mind it only having one shower and some close sleeping quarters. The beds were very comfy and clean though. It was still cool with the AC window units on too (if staying in the summer). All in all would stay again!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

Had a great stay here. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Close enough to town but far enough away to feel private. Would stay here again.

We were looking for a retreat for Memorial Day that would keep our toddler busy but offer a peaceful setting, free of crowns for our newborn and Erica’s place fit the bill exactly! The property looked even better in real life than in the photos. The place was stocked with amenities. Every time we said “I forgot XYZ” it was available in the house including: bug spray, firewood, marshmallow sticks, coffee thermos, wine, and more! I’ve never stayed at a place that had so much available. The spring water provided in the dispenser was very helpful, especially with little ones. Our toddler enjoyed looking for salamanders and frogs, splashing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, and bird watching. Cracking the bedroom windows provided the perfect white noise from the creek. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy coffee while soaking in all the nature. We also enjoyed the Amish trail, Ellicottville Brewing, and pastries from Early Bird Ranch. A perfect family staycation!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the water. We especially enjoyed our morning walks around the area and looking at all the homes and our dog especially loved running on the small beach area. Beach is Dog friendly till 10am and after 5pm. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

This place was everything we had hoped it would be , it was so clean and beautiful. We made alot of beautiful memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. The host was very responsive and helpful.. I would come back again and I will be telling everyone about this place

This was a fabulous choice for a weekend wine getaway with girlfriends! The description of the place was spot on! I have been coming to the area for 15 years and always wanted to stay at this place because it looks so unique from the outside. It did not disappoint, and the hostess was spectacular in term of communication. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to many wineries. Visited Ellicottville for the day. Walked both beaches. Deb was always in communication. So thankful for the kuerig!!

We really appreciated having access to the golf cart to get up and down the small hill because of hip issues and carting luggage and food. Doug was very responsive each time we asked for assistance we stayed for six nights and were sad to leave this cozy home. Terry and Barb

The cottage was beautiful and perfect for our needs. The view of the lake was wonderful and it was so peaceful. Everything was clean and neat and we felt right at home. I highly recommend Judy's place for a lake experience or just a little get away.

The Sunrise Inn provided a cozy and comfortable stay where great memories were made. Due to the weather, we unfortunately did not get to make a bonfire or enjoy the beautiful front porch with views of the lake, but we did see a rainbow over the lake! The kitchen and bathroom were spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking / entertaining. We made breakfast at the cottage and enjoyed eating at the local restaurants (The Anchor, Frog Pond, and Happi Jax). Valerie was a very friendly and responsive host, and we would definitely recommend her place to future guests visiting the lake!

We had an amazing stay for the weekend. This was the most accommodating Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Everything we needed was available. Rebecca personalized our stay for a soccer weekend and it was so thoughtful. It was a short walk to the lake and the private lake front was so peaceful. The cottage had a lot of space and was very clean. The amenities available at the cottage were great. We wish our stay could have been longer. If we are ever back in the area we would 100% choose to stay at the Little Shovel again. Thank you for a great weekend!

We really enjoyed the home. Short drive to downtown Warren and easy access to lots of PA Wilds sites. The home is dated but very comfortable and was extremely clean, even when compared to much pricier rentals. Extra kudos for being dog friendly!

This is an awesome place close to beach, restaurants etc. We loved everything about this place! Will be staying there again!

Loved Tina’s lakefront cottage. It was clean, spacious, and ready for activities in the yard, by the fire pit, or in the lake itself. Tina was helpful and responsive. I would book again 10 times out of 10
