We are located 10 minutes from Black Moshannon State Park, and only 25 minutes from Penn State Beaver Stadium. Guests are provided with breakfast items for the duration of their stay.

The Rut Hut on Winslow Hill

Peaceful & centrally-located cabin in Benezette, directly across from the elk visitor center. Sit back, relax & enjoy this open space cabin with living room, dining area, full kitchen, 2 king bedrooms. Sit outside under our covered porch & listen to the sounds of nature including bugling elk & howling coyotes. You may even get a glimpse of a bull elk, a cow and her babies. Camp David in the heart of the PA Elk herd

This cabin sets on three private acres and is located on the Bennett Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek in the heart of the Pennsylvania elk herd where you don’t have to go far at all to see the elk. When staying here you will have a very good chance of elk passing through the yard as well as many other animals. At the foot of the driveway is the local swimming hole where everyone brings their coolers and chairs, or you can pick out a rock and enjoy the sun and water as well as fish or kayak.

We have recently added WIFI and an outdoor hot tub. We also offer a private food plot out the back door of the cabin.
