Boshuisje-Chez Michel

HannahRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Amazing stay! Would definitely recommend! It is very spacious and we could tell the host really put in full effort to make a place that was very accommodating and had every little thing you needed and then some. We found the space to be very well set up and designed creating a very cozy feel. The park area had a restaurant, laundry, and grocery stores were less than 10 min away. Really short distance to the University as well. Finally, I felt the hosts were very nice, great to talk to, and were quickly on top of any questions or concerns, large or small, that we asked about. Loved the privacy too and having a whole cottage to ourselves!

Detached cottage with 2 terraces and wood-burning stove

Geraldine ElisabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The stay with Anja has been incredibly successful. Outside and inside, the atmosphere is wonderfully rural, yet modern. Everything you need is here. The 2 terraces outside both offer a wonderful opportunity to stay outside, the wood stove inside makes it very pleasant for the entire accommodation. Anja provides enough wood. The house is cozy, but definitely big enough. The sound of the birds is wonderful. Occasionally you will also hear some other animals like the chickens or sheep from the fields. We were there for a family weekend and experienced this as the perfect location for that. Close to everything, but we did not investigate much of the area itself. Actually, we didn't want to leave when we had arrived. You immediately feel at home.

The sheepfold

We enjoyed the Schaapskooi, the delicious bed, and a fantastic breakfast. We were with friends, and the cottage was well suited for the four of us. Beautiful bike routes nearby, and combined with the musical 40-45. We went there by bike. As far as we are concerned, recommended!

Orchard cottage blue

MarjanRating, 5 starstoday
Enjoying the stay at Ageeth. Everything was clean and fresh, flowers from our own garden on the table and it was quiet and very private, in the middle of the orchard. Ageeth is friendly and flexible. I booked at the last minute and that was no problem at all. Highly recommended!

Really appreciated the fun location. Equipped enough for simple autonomy and fast intervention for greater issues, provided with kidness and a very polite staff. Thank you! ❤️

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Soof Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The location is peaceful and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The accommodations were stylish, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They went out of their way to ensure everything was just right, which really made a difference. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning coffee with scenic views or taking part in the relaxing wellness activities, every moment felt intentional and rejuvenating. If you're looking for a serene getaway that blends comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend Soof Retreat. It’s a hidden gem.

Private Onsbakhuus Apartment

GerritRating, 5 stars14 months ago
As a guest you have a private garden house in the backyard. It comes with a toilet, a bathroom, a well-equipped small kitchen, a large, comfortable double bed, and a single bed. There is also a TV (which we did not use - plenty to do), and you have WLAN. An excellent breakfast is served by Janny at a time of your choosing. The guest house has its own entry, of which you have the key, so you can come and go as you please without having to go through the main house. The interaction with Janny is easy, relaxed, and friendly. The street is close to but not part of the streets that carry the main traffic, so it is very quiet and private. Wageningen is small enough to explore on foot, and the countryside offers plenty of possibilities within range of a bicylce. I know the area very well, so I did not need or request any help with that, but there is a flyer with information on the table. Highly recommended!
