My husband and I absolutely loved this home! Being from Metro Detroit, the ability to escape to peace and tranquility is something we really appreciated. Reconnecting with nature and each other without the noise of the outside world was great! The home was very clean, the property was well maintained (and mostly bug free!) and the communication from Doug was timely and clear. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone hoping to relax and recharge!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

Homey cottage near Lake Michigan

Jason's cabin is in a small friendly community, and just a half mile walk to Lake Michigan. It was very clean and cozy, and we felt very safe there. He had Wi-Fi that also worked outside on the property, which helped since I had some work to do while I was there. Take note your phone likely won't have any signal at the beach, so a great place to get away. Only problem we had was that the access code for the lock Jason provided in his notes was wrong. I called him, and luckily got through as my phone signal was very low. He didn't realize he had an old code in the notes on AirB&B. Also, the door handle has to be pulled towards you to allow the motor in the automated lock to engage or disengage. We didn't know this until we talked to Jason. Despite this, I appreciate that Jason was able to respond quickly and resolved the issue.

Marlene's cabin was a great place for a weekend away with my girlfriend and our dog. Marlene was very friendly and responsive leading up to the stay and even more so once we were there! The location was great, just a 10 minute drive into town but we really just stayed and relaxed at the cabin because it was so peaceful and quiet. The yard was big and felt private, the cabin was well decorated with comfy couches chairs (and bed). The kitchen was small but stocked with everything you need. Plenty of outdoor seating for grilling and building a fire in the evening (plenty of firewood too!). The chicken coop in the yard was super cool, but don't worry the rooster isn't very loud and didn't bother me (and I'm an notoriously light sleeper). Marlene even left us fresh eggs every morning! Can't say enough nice things about this cabin and Marlene (and her really nice dogs). Definitely recommend this place.

Shore to Please!

Elsa is a very friendly and responsive host. Her communication was timely and helpful. We loved sitting out by the lake and having bonfires. She supplied the kayaks and paddle board along with life jackets and other outdoor activities. The landscaping and gardening is gorgeous and surrounding the deck and outside. The cabin is updated but still has some elements that keep the old charm, very cute! We were driving distance to many state parks and visited ludington and Pentwater daily. We enjoyed the sunroom every morning and evening though the day as well. And no kidding - we even saw a bald Eagle, it flew by about 30 feet or so by us. It was a beautiful experience I will never forget - this past spring we suddenly lost my brother and my mom and I were talking about him, and she tearfully yelled “show me a sign!” Ad the words left her mouth a cardinal flew past us and then the bald Eagle soared by. I have never experienced that ever in my life and will not forget it!

This House is the perfect summer getaway for all Families! The toddlers absolutely loved the beach and the water and Brenda was extremely accommodating to them! The nature and bird watching were phenomenal. The perfect mix of peacefullness and fun to make for the perfect family Vacation for any Family, Thank You Brenda!!

Great Location and Beautiful Cottage

The stay was great and Kurt was super friendly and responsive. I had to call when my service wouldn’t load the check in code for the door and he chatted and gave us directions to get to the lakes by the house - all walkable by the way. Great location and the pie the hosts made was delicious! Thank you and we’ll be back again!
