Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

I had a wonderful stay at Liezl’s Gecko Cottage. The place was exactly as described — peaceful, quiet, and perfect for my exam prep. Liezl and Lindi were very helpful and even dropped off a heater before it got cold. They really went the extra mile. Highly recommended! Thank you!

I had a comfortable stay at Louise's property. The place was sparkling clean and you get to have your own space. The host is very responsive at all times and she allowed me to check out at any time since it was a public holiday that day, I appreciated that gesture as I was not in too much of a hurry to leave the place. She also offered to have my laundry done since I was there for a couple of days, I unfortunately saw the message on the last day of my stay but luckily I didn't need any clothes to be washed. Thank you Louise for being an amazing host. I got to enjoy a walk around the area as well, it is very peaceful and secure.

We had a great family stay at Talia and Schalk's and would love to stay again. Among the many highlights are: beautiful large property with gardens, nearby park, backup power, great linens, affordable help available for occasional cleaning, and above all super friendly hosts. We also appreciated: high chair and baby bed were available, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements, the house and street are quiet and private, and it was easy to get to nearby shopping, restaurants etc. Thanks for having us!

Great stay! The weather was absolutely freezing, but the hosts provided an additional heater that made a huge difference. Very peaceful, comfy bed...very comfortable for my young daughter and myself. If the weather would have been warmer, the pool would have been lovely! There are a couple of fantastic local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, which were really nice.

Jane is a phenomenal host - she is very warm and welcoming, helpful, thoughtful, and responsive. Her pups Zeus (boy) and Snowy (girl) are super friendly and loving - they are also great guard dogs. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe on the property. The cottage was clean and cozy, perfect for one person or a couple. Large bath tube, full kitchen, lots of storage space, plenty of windows to let in natural light, and most important... private. The neighborhood is safe and quiet - you'll see the local police trucks patrolling regularly day and night. The house is positioned across the street from a golf course. You'll enjoy walking this lovely neighborhood. Shopping centers with everything you need are close by and you can get anything delivered with ease. I can't say enough good things about Jane and her beautiful property. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, private, and safe place to stay.

Our stay with Sindie was short and sweet. We had a medium sized group of people which resulted in African time booking (late booking) and Sindie was there to help us with our stay. We had a minor hiccup with getting in the upon booking which was quickly resolved. The place looked exactly like the pictures, with all amenities in place and as advertised. It was spotless and the other tenants surrounding us were also nice to us. I would definitely book with Sindie again, she gave us a lovely weekend

I had the pleasure of staying at Caryn’s place for two weeks. Everything was as described, the place was spotless thanks to the lovely lady Vicky. It’s close to shops and restaurants. The garden was nice and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place. Hope to stay there again.

Ohh Melinda! What a great time we had. It felt like home away from home and Melinda and Ignitious were so welcoming. We laughed a lot with them and really made us feel comfortable. If it was possible to rate 100 I would, this has been by far the most relaxing and clean Airbnb I used for working. It was a perfect spot, closer to all beautiful shopping malls. I was able to do all my errands around Johannesburg. The cleaner Thobi was the sweetest esp when I was not feeling well. I am surely coming back here for my month or 2 months off. Orlando’s place was absolutely incredible. It was my home away from and have never been so comfortable. The place was even better than what it looked like. So comfortable, him and his family took amazing care of me. I never had any problems there, they had a really warm gas heater that was replaced as soon as I mentioned its finished. Lovely quiet neighborhood and very tranquil, I love nature so I was really happy to be surrounded by trees and birds all around me. Definitely 10/10 would recommend and go back ! Worth every penny spent.
