Very friendly host. We had some trouble finding the apartment, but the host soon met us and helped us. Even had delicious coffee and breakfast. +/- 15 minutes walk to the old center of Berat. Definitely recommended!

Guest House Gorani #5

MykhailoRating, 5 stars22 months ago
There is an access to the roof which allows 360 view of the surroundings, including the view of old town and mountains which was spectacular. Andriana gave good instructions on how to get to the house as GMaps generally suggests a road which is not suitable for regular cars, only for 4x4. Going downtown isn't the easiest since you either have to go down the stairs for about 7-10 minutes or alternatively spend about 15 minutes if you choose a car road, but the view from house is worth the journey. The internet is not super reliable so if you need to do anything work-wise it's better to opt for room #1 where the router is. The apartment has no AC (as of now) but since it's located in the ground floor it's generally not too hot, moreover there are usually winds (pleasant ones) since the house is located on the hill. Andriana's parents are super hospitable and will often treat you with local cheese/fruits/snacks/deserts or whatever they have at the moment.

The surroundings of the house do not look great for first impression, but everything in the apartment was impeccable - quite close to the city center, shops, etc.

Guest House Gorani #1

We were hosted by Andrianas mother and she was the kindest person we have met on uur entire Trip. She was really really friendly and the accommodation was really beautiful. I would defintily reccomend staying here. If you don't come by car I would recommend asking for directions on how to get there by foot because we did not find the way immediately with maps. Thank you for everything!

Apartment City Center Best Price

ValbonaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I was looking for an apartment in the center of Fier to stay for some time. After my search for the right place, I booked Klaudjo’s apparent, and I am very glad I chose that. First, the apparent was very clean, secondly it was in a very good location, in the center of the city where you have everything close. In the apartment you have everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook. This is going to be my place to stay every time I go to Fier.

Guest House Semani & Traditional food Since 1860

A Special Stay in Berat’s City of Windows🪟 Staying here felt like stepping into the heart of Berat’s soul. The house itself is a beautiful piece of Albanian architectural history, you’re not just visiting the city, you’re living in it. Check-in was really easy, and Manteo was amazing. He gave us clear instructions, was super considerate, and even prepared some food for us even when we arrived late.. such a kind gesture after a long journey. He was also really friendly and shared great tips about the neighbourhood. The room was spotless and cozy, and waking up to that panoramic view of Berat’s famous stacked houses was just magical. It’s one of those views that you don’t forget. Getting to the house involves walking through narrow stone paths, steps, and ramps, but that’s part of the experience. It really feels like walking through history, with each turn echoing the charm of old Balkan streets. Honestly, this wasn’t just a stay… it was an experience. Would definitely recommend it.

Nothing but good things to say about our stay in this house. Diola and her family were very attentive and took care of us as if we were one of their own. The place was beautiful, and the house was spacious and beautiful, providing all the amenities. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Emi's Apartment

MarcelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Small but nice apartment on the edge of Berat. The owner Emiard is very involved and is open for a chat. Beautiful garden that smells very nice, where you can sit well. Really recommended! The shower is very small and you should not forget to turn the knob in the evening for hot water. But that really does not outweigh the advantages of this apartment and also especially the friendly owner and his wife and son.

The stay at Jimmy's home was great. The apartment was very spacious, clean and very fully furnished with lots of basic amenities. A beautiful veranda and nice other sitting areas outside. The mountain and valley views are breathtakingly beautiful. The fruits and vegetables from the garden are delicious. The contact with Jimmy and his wife was very pleasant. And both are very helpful, welcoming and give nice and good tips about the area. In addition, Jimmy responds quickly to any questions. The ride up by car is well worth it. Jimmy, thank you for your good care and beautiful surroundings in which your house is located.

A Piece of Albania

NikitaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just one night at Flora and Hector's left a vivid impression in my memory! These amazing people can create an atmosphere in a few hours that others cannot replicate in a week. From the first minute, we felt sincere hospitality. Flora immediately treated us to drinks and dessert, and after that, Hector happily showed us the surroundings. In the evening, an incredibly delicious homemade dinner from their garden was waiting for us. Each spoon conveyed the care and warmth of the owner's hands! Among other things, Hector and Flora are excellent conversationalists. And even though we spoke different languages, we often understood each other without an interpreter. Their hospitality is so natural that by the morning we didn't feel like guests, but their relatives! Although our visit was short, the impressions remained the warmest. Cleanliness, a comfortable bed, the silence of the village night and roosters in the morning - everything came together in a perfect picture of real Albania. We are incredibly grateful to them for a drop of home comfort in our journey!

We were warmly welcomed by Johnny's parents - even if we could only communicate with hand signs. The father even carried the bike bags and my bike up the stairs. On the upper ground floor it looks like there is a shop - but it is a kind of workshop and gym and - for us great! - a bicycle garage with an outlet to charge the battery. If the parents didn't understand us, Johnny supported us remotely. The apartment itself is wonderful, very large, and has two balconies. We can highly recommend this accommodation!
