The place reached our expectations, was so nice and clean, the reception desk so welcoming and Lynette took us on last minute but her response was so nice and quick. Will be visiting again

A home away from home! We an amazing time, it was the perfect getaway in a great location with beach access which our kids loved. The house was an absolute gem and it was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to accommodate us which made the experience a definite 10 out of 10!

The house was serviced daily (except on public holiday), which gave us a 5 star treatment. My kids were also very happy with our choice of accommodation. The beach ball was the cherry on top. The place looks exactly like the photos. Very clean and easy to locate. My kids had a lot of space to run around, a private pool. Everything was exceptional, we had a wonderful stay indeed

The property unit 4 Jimbara at Zimbali offered an immaculate look and also aesthetically beautiful. Lynda was a great host. She ensured we had a remarkable stay and communicated right through prior arrival to departure.

Jennifer’s place is absolutely lovely. My family enjoyed every minute especially the kids with the pool. The security is very tight but that helped sleep well at night knowing that we are safe. Jennifer was always available when I needed her and gave alternative point of contacts in the event that she will be away. Her place is serene and has lovely views and has all the amenities one needs. I wished we could stay longer but definitely looking forward to our visit again. 🙂

Our stay at Lymgrove Home in Umdloti through Holiday Escape Airbnb was absolutely perfect. The house sits peacefully on a hill with breathtaking ocean views. We caught the strawberry full moon rising over the water—pure magic. Mornings began with beach walks and stops at Settle Coffee or a nearby café. A great breakfast spot and restaurant are also just minutes away. The home was fully equipped for international guests, and Busi, our daily help, was punctual, sweet, and efficient. The friendly monkeys added character, and the gardener kept the pool and patio spotless. Phunlani, our driver, was always early, professional, and made us feel safe. For our wedding event, Alandra arranged Sam from Salt Hair Beauty, who made us all look stunning. From start to finish, Alandra and the Holiday Escape team went above and beyond. Highly recommend this peaceful, well-located gem. We made memories for a lifetime!

What a lovely home, rooms are spacious and clean, and the view is just gorgeous! Rachel who works there is so friendly and helpful, nice having her around. The area is very peaceful. You can see the ocean from most of the rooms and living area. The kids also enjoyed the house, garden and swimming pool. Would recommend this holiday home. Thank you!

We were looking for a place in Durban for a few days to serve as our base, for a family of 6. Having found and booked Amanda's place a few months before we were looking forward to the holiday. We were not disappointed. The house and service exceeded our expectations! We felt we had discovered a hidden gem in Durban north. The home was immaculate and we felt privileged to be let into a special space that had clearly had lots of care and attention put into it. The security of the home gave us peace of mind and our family enjoyed the piano, swimming pool and tennis court. Amanda and Rumbi (the housekeeper) attended to our every need and made us feel welcome.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Our stay was incredible and zizi was a fantastic host although we are from the area we hired out the house to host an intimate lunch which turned out great zizi also has a very helpful lady who lives on the property to help with anything you might be confused about thank you zizi we will surely Book again!

Mel’s place is beautiful and open. It’s great for kids as well. The beautiful and aesthetically pleasing home is also child friendly. Mel also has Nompilo who is there to help us with anything we needed and to ensure the place is clean. Having someone there made it easy for us if we had any questions. The driveway is steep so you need to be confident when driving there. The estate is beautiful and has lots of things to do for when traveling with kids. We really enjoyed ourselves there. Thanks Mel and family ❤️❤️❤️

We enjoyed the estate and access to the Clubhouse and private beach. The unit was clean, modern and had all that we needed. Otherwise great unit and we will be back.
