The house was built with ecological materials (wood fiber insulation, clay plaster) and lovingly furnished with solid wood furniture. It has a double bed 160 x 200, a couch, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and dry separation toilet. The house is easily accessible by train. Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

In the immediate vicinity there are larger towns such as Celle (about 25 km), Heidepark and the wildlife park in Müden are also in the immediate vicinity.
