Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

Philippe is a very welcoming and very pleasant host. The house is particularly beautiful and well maintained. The setting is superb! The views are breathtaking. The accommodation is very well arranged and very clean. Nothing is missing, generosity is felt. Comfort and quality are waiting for you. The presence of Kiwi is a real pleasure for cat lovers. 😉

Evelyne was wonderfully welcoming, helpful and provided lots of useful information. The rooms were spacious, the beds a decent size and the kitchen well equipped. Beautiful countryside and a lovely walk into St Emilion.

Great stay at La Trappezienne. House matches the photos. Very clean and comfortable house with one bathroom per room. A lot of space for a large family. Warm and very efficient welcome by Laure. Quick response to all our requests by Laure and Vincent. Great location to enjoy Sarlat and the Dordogne. We dream of going back to enjoy the pool. Only downside on the kitchen equipment that could be more provided, (covered plates, glasses, pots and pans).

Chateau Des Reves exceeded our expectations in every way! Nestled in the heart of a stunning vineyard, this 2-story retreat offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The backyard's swimming pool and breathtaking views of the grapevines were absolute heaven. The thoughtful gesture of placing a complimentary wine bottle added a lovely personal touch. Located just 15 minutes from Libourne's busy streets, Chateau Des Reves provided the ideal balance of peace and accessibility. Prompt Responsiveness of the host was another plus point. This is a place I would recommend to all holidayers seeking peace and tranquility. May be the price could be a tad lower to make it even more attractive. Overall a great experience.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. The house and amenities were great and all the hosts were very helpful. The outside facilities were incredible and we loved the location. We didn’t know if the reviews could live up to the hype but the property actually surpassed our expectations. We will definitely be going back. Everyone we met was lovely and very helpful. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and the restaurant Doma which is only 5 mins drive away was brilliant. Thank you for an amazing experience - it will be remembered!

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

This house is absolutely gorgeous! It is superbly equipped and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space is great: beautifully maintained and very private and the river views are stunning. The pool was perfect for our three teens and they also appreciated the access to Netflix. The location is great as you can walk to nearby shops and restaurants and are an easy drive from multiple local attractions.

The villa is spacious and well appointed. Outdoor spaces are particularly well maintained. The view of the surrounding vines is beautiful. The value is excellent. Contact with the host was responsive and pleasant.

A true haven of peace! The large garden, pool and hot tub provide a great setting for relaxing. The accommodation is comfortable, very clean and as advertised. They're thoughtful and available. A refreshing stay that I would recommend without hesitation!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

We had a lovely stay, the villa was in a beautiful setting and had lovely grounds and pool. It was well equipped with two kitchens, a bbq and slept 12 comfortably. Would definitely recommend to others and return back!

Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!

Our stay at Sandra’s beautiful home was absolutely wonderful. The house is stunning, pristine and has everything a large family would need for a very comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool and the abundance of games available to them in the barn. All our adults loved the beautiful setting and peaceful grounds, the hammocks were well used for a relaxing read. We would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway- we loved it!

fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

we stayed for five days and had a great time. The property is very nice in a really private peaceful location. Near to beautiful villages and as we were cycling we had lots of different options to choose. All beautiful. Oliver is really friendly and helpful. we would love to return.

What a perfect house for our stay. The photos are a fair representation of the property but the house is even better in real life. It’s a lovely spacious, airy and light living space. Bedrooms are spacious. Everything including bathrooms and living area looks like it’s been recently refurbished. There is everything that you could need available, the kitchen is fully kitted out and the hosts even said we could use the herbs in the garden. There is a mezzanine floor with TV and soda. The heated pool is in excellent condition with electric cover for over night, and the garden is beautifully attended. The hosts communication was excellent. The house is positioned next to a road but it’s quiet with little traffic and is 15-20 mins easy walk to the centre of town, and 3 minutes by car. We will be back.

What a fabulous find in the peaceful and beautiful area of Bouzic. A really well appointed home with everything you need for a great stay. The home is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is really well appointed with everything you need for a family or couples stay. Pool side is lovely. A great space to relax overlooking the well maintained garden and countryside. Amanda was a great host. Always responsive to questions and available when needed. Overall one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in. The photos do not do the home justice. Thanks again Amanda.

This fabulous old manoir has been so beautifully renovated! It still very much holds it's original charm, while there is everything available you could need for a family holiday. They seem to have thought of everything! We had a magnificent week looking out onto spring blossoms and green pastures. Our children had the best time in the heated pool and playing ping- pong. Fabienne welcomed us and was very helpful and available locally. Guillaume is a friendly and responsive host who made the whole booking process very efficient. Many thanks for this fantastic holiday. Obviously we would love to come back!

Beautiful and very stylish house in an absolutely stunning location. Lots to do inside, but standout feature is the expansive outside space with westward views across the large pool to the valley meaning spectacular sunsets from the terrace every evening.

I booked this place for my parents to stay after our wedding in France. My parents had an absolutely wonderful time. Marie made check in very easy for them and was easily contactable by phone if when they needed some help. My parents would highly highly recommend this home.
