A beautifully renovated farm house that is ideal for 3 couples. The house has many entertainment areas (courtyard was our favourite) and has some unique decorative art pieces. There are lovely small touches like the water filter and bath soap that made the stay more memorable. We recently stayed here while attending a wedding in Tulbagh and had a wonderful experience. We shared the accommodation with two other couples, and it was absolutely perfect—each couple had their own spacious, beautifully decorated bedroom and private bathroom, which made the shared space feel both social and private. The courtyard garden and pool area were absolutely stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful, well-maintained greenery that made the whole place feel like a hidden oasis. The area itself is peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding, and there are a number of lovely restaurants and cafés within walking distance for breakfast and more. Highly recommended for a comfortable and stylish stay in Tulbagh!

This place magical and beyond what is seen in pictures! The attention to the very little details was amazing! Super peaceful place and highly recommended for anyone likes to get out of the city life and relax. The host was also super helpful and informed us of all that we needed to know before and during our stay . We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Lorraine home. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this home was thoughtfully designed with families in mind. It’s incredibly kid friendly, with plenty of space for the little ones to play and relax. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the splash pool. The décor is beautifully styled,modern, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. One of our favorite features was the easy 3 min walk to the beach a perfect morning or afternoon activity for the whole family. After a fun day by the ocean, it was so nice to come back to such a cozy and comfortable home. Lorraine was a fantastic host, and everything about the stay exceeded our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing 4 night stay in Niel’s beach house. Although next to another house, it felt private. It has a wonderful view of the sea from the lounge, patio and front two rooms. The home is very comfortable and effectively decorated but some aspects of the house still require upgrading. We loved making use of the resort pool which was within 10 minutes walking distance. Niel was a very communicative and kind host. We recommend this getaway as a perfect antidote to city life.

Our weekend getaway was meant to be an off the grid break from the world. This listing gave us exactly what we needed. It was private and offered beautiful walking routes. The kitchen was fully equipped, exactly what we needed to be able to prepare our meals. The lounge fireplace is the perfect distance from the couch which allowed for cozy evening reading time. The patio overlooks the ocean, perfect for afternoon lunch and wine. Communication regarding check-in was clear. Overall, I would be keen to stay here again.

We had lovely time. The weather was a little chilly so the heated pool was a bonus. Unfortunately my daughter got ill during our stay but the house is located around the corner from a doctor surgery which was really great, and even though we did not get an opportunity to go to the beach, the bar area with pool table/table tennis/darts and the board games in the house kept us entertained. Good selection of entertainment on the TV too.

This place is incredible, and we felt privileged to stay there. It was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. It was a pleasure to use the furniture/ look at the art work. Also the beds and bedding were very very comfortable and it was a treat to use the bathrooms. We ate home cooked food by candlelight in the magnificent dining room (table was set and dressed by Noel). It was Noel, who greeted us, helped with our luggage and looked after the place that made the visit truly memorable- along with his little Corgi Maxine who made us feel right at home.

Had a wonderful stay!Our second visit at this house and our first time with the pizza oven which turned out to be a fun evening on the rooftop with a stunning sunset.The cottage was lovely too and both areas are well equipped with all you need.

We stayed for two nights but honestly wished we stayed for more, the place is stunningly beautiful, it really felt like a home away from home albeit within walking distance from the beach, quite literally a few steps over a dune. It was comfortable, modern and spacious! The area around is breathtaking and we even managed to see a few dolphins frolicking nearby! We will definitely come here again!

The location was wonderful and being dog friendly was a huge bonus and the reason we chose Kathy’s house . Our only comment is that the bathrooms and kitchen need a bit of an upgrade ie in bedroom 2 the shelf is so high you can’t use it. I had to store my toiletries on the floor ( no small bench or vanity top). We are slightly biased as we own a kitchen and furniture design company so probably hard to please 😊 A few towel hooks outside would be great The hot tub was a winner and we absolutely loved it and used if each day.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Exactly what we needed to unwind, with a stunning home in a beautiful location. Attention to detail and very generous hosts. The home is also equipped with every appliance you can think of. This is why I enjoy booking Airbnb homes over hotel rooms, it’s the personal touch and warmth that is unmatched. Would definitely return!

What a special place in gorgeous Shark Bay with unspoiled views and bright gorgeous mornings! This house faces south with all the perks that come with it! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful place to stay over a long weekend. The Historic home was very clean with great amenities. Louise was very welcoming and available throughout our stay. Added country touch of having roaming chickens in the garden and 2 friendly cats!

We had the most amazing weekend getaway at Corene’s beachfront villa in St Helena Bay. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with stunning views and the sound of the waves as your backdrop. The villa itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!
