Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

Great central spot in Concord. Georgie is a fantastic host and the house is extremely well supplied. Our stay was wonderful.

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

We stayed at this place for nine days and had a fantastic experience. It was clean and plenty of space in the house. By car it's easy to experience the whole Bay area from this place.

Wow - we had an amazing stay and loved Job's beautiful home. The photos barely capture the incredible views. 180 degrees views of Mt. Tam all the way down to the Bay - truly on top of world. Pool was bigger than expected, warm water, great covered porch, VERY nice pool house/bedroom & bath. All beds were super comfortable, everything sparkling clean and living room was such a great and comfy area to watch movies or just look at the view with a good book. Kitchen is outfitted (and labeled) with everything you need. Very close to San Anslemo downtown - which is filled with great lunch spots, coffee shops. So much to do in Marin and this is centrally located (note a steep driveway but we had no issues.) Can't think of a single improvement Job could make. I left something behind and he responded that day that he would ship back to me. One of our most favorite Airbnbs ever. THANK YOU!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

We just had an awesome stay for my bachelorette. The pool and the house are very well kept. We LOVED all of the wildlife and plants in the yard/area! Kenny was SO RESPONSIVE which was so helpful and we appreciate it so much! A great home. The only little thing is that uber had a hard time finding the address but if you tell them to use google maps it works much better. We'll be back for sure !

My husband and I drove up from LA for a wedding in SF (and an event in Oakland) and stayed at Suzanne’s place for 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Proximity to both events was a breeze. The house itself was perfect — very clean and full of amenities. We also appreciated the smart TV and great doordash options for our relaxing first night after the drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was as described. The ceiling is low and the shower head is low, but that's what I knew from beforehand. The place was clean and the host was responsive. Good choice if you just need a quiet stay for lower price.

Simona and Ambuj were great hosts. This location worked perfectly as a home base to get my daughter settled for an internship in Berkeley. Great aesthetic and welcoming. Huge bonus was the adjustable standing desk as I needed to work remotely each day. I especially appreciated the small stepper at the desk to use while working. Walkable to enjoy local dining and farmers markets. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Reuven's place. Reuven was a welcoming host with prompt responses . He checked in regularly during my stay to make sure I had everything I needed. I met Reuven a few times in person and he was always warm and friendly. The cottage itself was very comfortable and clean and had high quality amenities. It's located in a nice neighborhood and you can walk to pretty much everything including UCB. The off-street parking spot and brand new washer/dryer were especially helpful. I highly recommend the cottage to anyone visiting the East Bay and I would love to stay here again when I visit my daughter next time!

Lovely bungalow with an exceptional backyard space. Very comfortable beds, and fully stocked kitchen made for a great home away from home stay.

This place really lives up to its name - Urban Oasis. It should have the word paradise added to the description. I was looking for a place to host international guests and wanted a place which they could rest and have some privacy as they recovered from jet lag. As a local resident, I found it hard to believe that such a beautiful location existed so close by. The backyard reminded me of Hawaii. It was so beautiful and serene. Albena has gone above and beyond with all her unique decorative touches, supplies for the home (from phone chargers to best selling books). We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was stocked with pots, lots of dishes, and cooking utensils and supplies. Albena was so warm and friendly and super responsive and had some great tips for what to do. I even learned a few new things. My guests would have been happy to just stay in the home and enjoy it rather than venturing out to SF. I've already recommended this place to friends. It's so delightful!

Oh my goodness! I can hardly believe we got so lucky to book this place for our trip to Berkeley. I'll definitely book again on our next visit. Location: AMAZING. Walking distance to groceries, Philz coffee shop, BART, restaurants etc. House: Clean and comfortable. Great kitchen, multiple bathrooms, really comfy beds, basic necessities (towels, shampoo etc), low scent (huge plus if like me you suffer from asthma). Historic home in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees. Wonderful communication from Scott, super friendly and accommodating. Stop your searching. Just book!

Beth’s place is a hidden gem. Tastefully appointed, spacious, restorative, and centrally located. Will stay here again when I return to Berkeley.

Staying at Shoana's place was a perfect respite during a wonderful wedding weekend a few of my friends were attending. It was beautiful, clean, and close to everywhere we needed to be. Shoana was very communicative and easy to get a hold of when we needed her and would definitely recommend this sweet Berkeley home!

Ken's place was awesome. The perfect house for 2 couples and 2 children. Our family had a very relaxing stay while in town visiting local family. One spot in the driveway for a vehicle and plenty of parking on the street. One of the best parts is the convenience of amenities not inside the house. There is a grocery store literally across the street and many different shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house has 3 spacious bedrooms, an office and a huge family room with a ton of natural light! 2 bedrooms on the first floor, perfect for some of our guests who had mobility issues. Ken was a terrific host - K-Cups on the counter and water in the fridge. The only complaint I have was the weather was too cold to enjoy the beautifully landscaped backyard! Ken was very helpful and quick to respond when we asked a few questions about entry and use of things on the property during our stay. Thank you, we can't wait to visit again!

We traveled with 3 adults and an 18 month old and this house had everything we needed for the little one-/ especially the extra mattress for the Pack&Play. Our favorite feature though was the lovely backyard where our Berkeley family could come to relax and have dinner with us. Plus a cute playhouse that kept the little one occupied. Kitchen is small but has all the utensils, dishes, glassware to do whatever— very efficient and organized. And the bonus is there are several streaming services accessible on the TV. Plus 4th Street restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. Oh and there is a magical mirror in the second bedroom/office that makes one taller and slimmer— always a good thing when eating out for 5 days. Hosts were responsive to all our queries usually within minutes. We would happily return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Madison’s place. The location is great with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as close proximity to Lake Merritt. The house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we were able to enjoy several home made meals. We visit Oakland often and would definitely stay again.

Worked for a family with three adult sons having a bit of time together. Nice combo of indoor and outdoor space.

The place was totally awesome. The house was cute and clean. Amy was quick to respond to all inquiries. Enjoyed our stay. It was on a busy street next to businesses. That is our only downside to the home. We will still be back and stay with Amy!!

We loved our stay at Oscar's in Berkeley. The house was beautiful, private (walkway entry gate, and elevated above street level), convenient, and charming. The interior designs were all thoughtful, comfortable, and welcoming. The house was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). The location was excellent - lovely dog park and green space across the quiet street, easy walk to UC Berkeley campus and downtown, a Trader Joe's just a few blocks away, and easy to navigate. We hope to be back and would highly recommend!

The house was in a good location, well equipped, clean and met all our needs. The walkable neighborhood had lots of interesting restaurants.
