Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Berks County

We were in the area picking up a new puppy, and wanted a dog-friendly place with easy outdoor access to spend the night. Stephanie was quick to confirm that we were welcome with our new pup, and the comfortable room and expansive yard were just what we needed. While we were too tired from our long day of travel to make use of the lovely outdoor grill and prep station (we grabbed tasty pizza from a place nearby), that would be an excellent plus. I had a fantastic stay at Eduardo’s place in West Lawn, PA! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. Ed was an outstanding host friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

This is a great short term or long term stay. Really helpful to have an airbnb rental option so near to Kutztown University. The house and grounds looked just like the photos. It was spacious and they even allow dogs. Every morning we sat on the front porch drinking our coffee, looking out at the pond, and listening to the frogs. It was so peaceful and lovely. It was a straight road into Kutztown so an easy drive. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a rental in the area. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We stayed here while on a travel contract for Reading hospital. Great location! Jennifer was responsive to all our questions and very accommodating. We extended our stay and already booked our next stay at another one of her rentals.

Beautiful home, so many thoughtful touches, from fresh cut flowers in every room to all the bathroom supplies one could need. Gorgeous indoor greenhouse, beautiful nature all around. We loved our stay and highly recommend Jen’s!

Robert’s home suited us perfectly. It was conveniently located to many of the places we visited. The home was very clean and had the fresh, clean smell upon entering. We felt at home instantly. Robert was an excellent host. He communicated clearly and quickly and was very nice.

A great getaway for family and friends (and pets)! Our group had 6 adults, 4 kids, and a dog. The house was very open and airy and we all had plenty of space to hang out. Every bedroom has lots of light and porch / patio access. The kitchen and dining areas were open and perfect for group dinners. Even though there are other houses nearby, it felt fairly secluded with a spacious backyard. It's far enough off the road that kids could run around safely. The kitchen had pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee pot, toaster, and dishes, with a few spices, salt & pepper. We didn't see any casserole dishes or big mixing bowls. But otherwise it had what we needed. The lake was easy to drive to and walk around (and boat if it's the right season). Mark was a good host and communicated well. The house book provided gave a lot of options for activities and information about the area. Overall a great place to stay, and we'd love to visit again!

what a beautiful, homey, and peaceful place to stay. it was immaculate and spacious. It has the best coffee bar I have ever experienced. It is very spacious. They allow pets even though we did not take our fur babies. It is a safe and welcoming place that I would be happy to take them to. Our host was very attentve and made sure we lacked nothing. The beds were the most comfortable that we have come across. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we plan to return!

The place had me in joy and peace an experience I recommend for any family the host was kind and very responsive and the environment of animals pond and fireplace was such a beautiful touch.

A lovely fun family that’ll help you out or leave you be, and they collect fun strange things to share with all.

Stayed here with ten friends for a college reunion. it was a great fit for us!

We loved our stay in the cabin! They are thoughtfully designed, the beds are incredibly comfortable. The campground is quiet and relaxing, while having activities for the kids. We loved it so much we will be coming back again soon!

Leslie's cottage was peaceful, clean, and certainly charming. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, it was wonderful stay for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were cozy and clean. The "third bedroom" is in fact just a single bed in the living room but we didn't mind. We stayed during the off season so we didn't have access to the pool but the backyard was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our dog to enjoy. The neighbors nearby had many dogs that would often bark throughout the day and sometimes night. We didn't mind since we're used to it but for others might be an annoyance for if you're expecting true silence. The wifi also was unreliable and often did not work if at all. Luckily we were able to make due with what signal we had in the countryside. Leslie was very polite, responsive and informative. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you Leslie!

Natalie does an amazing job managing the immaculate grounds at Red Run. She was overly helpful and accommodating with the questions I had before my arrival and during my stay. What a welcoming place to enjoy a well needed break from the crazy pace of life. Things slow down once you turn onto Red Run Road!

This place is great!! They have been fixing the area up making even better improvements w/ more new cabins! Place is beautiful! Love the area, great “Glamping” for ppl that want the modern stuff but be in nature. Cabins have porches to hang if it rains, each location has their own fire pit w/ chairs to relax in. They offer firewood at a cheap price AFTER giving you one free bundle. The cabins were spotless, nice bathroom w/ a nice shower. Linens & towels were very clean and comfy along with the bed & pillows! Will definitely make a 3rd trip soon. Great job all around from the “newer” owners & the groundskeepers! Staff working that we spoke to were very nice. Nice lake view area to enjoy or other spots with grass. Dog friendly which was great.

We are so happy to stay here when visiting relatives nearby. It’s always clean, has a good amount of dishes & glasses for use and welcoming decorative touches. There are different rooms where you can gather or work and we like its close proximity to a park for our dog.

I do not have enough words to say thank you to Arshad for his hospitality and allowing me to experience the best airbnb experience to date! The house is beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet and away from the busy streets, but right by the highway (huge plus for travels). And did I say the house is BEAUTIFUL??! I was fortunate to stay here long term and be the first guest to visit. This house turned into my second home and any time I travel to PA I will be staying at my second house 😁. Book it, you will not regret staying here!

I selected James place because it is walking distance to the Double Tree hotel during Berks Jazz Fest. The location matched the pictures but it was still so surprising to see how nice it was inside. Separate entrance and I felt right at home from the moment I stopped in. I had a question and James responded right away with an email but also followed up with a phone call when I didn’t respond right away. I already reserved my time for next year. Thank you.

I made a last minute decision to travel to Allentown for my son's baseball games with the Ironpigs. I needed to bring my dog. Victoria's house was easy to find and in a great location! The house was very clean, cozy and quiet in a great neighborhood. The yard is large and the porch was my dog's favorite place. We will definitely visit again!
