Bungalow holiday rentals in Berkshire

Amazing stay is the word to use. The children said they missed the house at bracklesham bay when we got back home. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children (8,13,15) who went to bracklesham bay for half term from london. It was great, the house was perfect with everything you need; the host thought of everything, nothing is missing, I even took pictures of the kitchen drawers to buy the same things. The house is on a calm road, very practical and with a conservatory that allows you to enjoy being outside on a rainy day. The beach is very close 5min walk, you can hear the wave sound and the seagulls from the garden, playground is close, it is also 20min walk from east wittering shops and 10min drive from west wittering sandy beach. Nice walks in the area. There is a cafe close by and a bar with life music on h weekend. We enjoyed every day and every activity in the area, we will definitely come back renting a house from wellies and windbreakers (the best service I ever had).

What a beautiful location! We wanted a place where we could relax and have all we needed within easy reach, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Having direct access to the beach from the garden was great and we sat for hours sitting looking out to sea. The local shops and restaurants were only a short walk away and meant that we didn't need to use our car all week. I'm sure we'll be back.

Great peaceful location. Didn't realise it was a static home but it was really nicely done out. Huge TV with Netflix (kids super happy in the evening!) Communication was great and The Boathouse restaurant which was a few minutes walk away was so great. Lovely location and great food. Really well placed for exploring the local area and gorgeous beaches.

We had the most fantastic weekend at this property. Location to beach was amazing, big garden, toys for grandchildren - no criticism at all. Alex, the host was responsive, friendly and proactive. It was like a home from home. We will must definitely book to visit again. Highly recommended.

Great bungalow with every convenience the area was very quiet but nice only one problem getting hot water it kept running hot the cold in the shower and was only able to get 3 inches of water in the bath otherwise a great stay

Fantastic property. This was our first time using AirBNB and we were a bit nervous beforehand, but the first message received reassured us and made us feel at ease. Communication was fantastic and everything was as described. Immaculately clean and would recommend booking here. Welcome back was gratefully received and a lovely touch. Thank you for making the stay great.

Fresh flowers and a hamper of wine, beer, and crisps welcomed us on arrival. Breakfasts were also taken care of, with provision of milk, bread, butter, eggs, orange juice and coffee. The location was nice and quiet (except for the occasional seagull 🙂) and The Street in Rustington has lots of useful shops (which is a rarity these days). The pie shop is one of my favourites. Walks along the seafront are just 5 minutes away from the bungalow. The bungalow itself is very stylish - I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the seating area surrounded by the pictures on the walls. Overall, a home from home.

We spent 2 nights at Laura's place, lovely, well equipped holiday cottage, close to the beach. Laura's instructions were detailed which made check in easy and stress free. She also recommended some great places to eat. Great host😊

Phil went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at chequers, checking that we had all we needed upon arrival and being responsive when asked a question. As a family of five, we found there was something for all at the house and really enjoyed our time there. If anything, it went too quick! The view is amazing and the cows are so friendly, running around in the field and always coming up to greet us at the fence. Can totally recommend the Plough Inn for a cream tea or the Pheasant Inn restaurant for dinner. We are gutted that we ran out of time to try the Ye hobnails-heard great things from the locals about that too! We finished the holiday with roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, a perfect end to a perfect stay. Thanks Phil.

William was fantastic from initially booking to any queries whilst we were staying. The house is beautiful and although a bit tricky to find, William’s helpful instructions made it much easier! The house was beautifully maintained and spotless. The rooms are a lot bigger than the pictures let on and the garden is huge! We had a lovely stay and had everything we needed, I could not recommend William enough!

Perfect location for easy access to places of interest plus the London airports. We visited the lovely nearby town of Winchester plus a relative in Fordingbridge, and flew home from Heathrow-which is easily accessed from Mary’s home. House is quiet, spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Mary greeted us just after we arrived at 4pm and gave us a comprehensive walk around the home.

Stayed here while visiting relatives in Shepperton, very peaceful location, the property was very spacious and clean, also looked out to fields and it was great to wake up to the view of two cats and a horse, Jason the host was very quick at responding to a message I sent before we arrived, will look at staying here again in the future.

Lovely spacious cottage with all you need located in beautiful countryside. Felt immediately at home. Rachel was very helpful with instructions. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. Instructions were very clear. It was a reasonable walk from Oxford city centre but not too far. Simple straightforward good quality accommodation that suited us. It made for a great visit to Oxford with an old friend.

We had a very restful stay at the hunters lodge. It was great to find tea, coffee, milk and biscuits and a coffee machine. The hot tub was clean and felt very private. We went for breakfast along the road to the happy farmer which was a little pricy but very nice.
