Holiday rentals with a kayak in Bermuda

Allison and Aaron were great hosts, totally responsive though working two jobs full days. I was there on a solo retreat for two weeks and lacked for nothing for my reading and writing project. The place was spacious enough to spread out, open a yoga mat, a sofa for naps, very comfortable bed, and a kitchen where I could have all the meals inside that I needed to. Best was a pretty direct walk straight up the hill and straight down the other side in 25 minutes to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Or, on lazy days just to sit in the breeze under the trees on the lawn. The bus stop, a grocery store (and diner) 500 yards away on Middle Road was very walkable with the groceries. I highly recommend and would be fine for a couple.

We were in town for a wedding. I share the space with my sisters’s family…. The place was more than adequate for eight of us. Swimming was perfect….lots of gear to use. Snorkeling was an unexpected surprise. Lots of coral and fish to see. Neighborhood was very friendly. We were always greeted with a friendly hello.

This has been the best air bnb experience! Cornell is an incredible host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. He goes out of his way to assist in everything. His house is amazing, spacious, like home, has all you need. His welcome packet has so much useful information and his communication is outstanding. We had 4 kids and they had a blast! We can’t wait to come back to this lovely home with an amazing host! Again all was impeccable and we could not ask for more. I recommend anyone coming to Bermuda to stay at his place. The location is perfect close to everything with a bus stop outside. We were sad to leave but definitely we are already thinking when to return!

Warf Cottage is amazing and Colin was a fantastic host. This is an historic home with tons of character and you can see the crystal blue water from every room in the house! Amazing views to wake up to, dine outdoors and relax by the dock. We rented a boat from a very close by watersports outfitter and were able to utilize the dock on property, paddle boards and kayaks, snorkel gear (all provided) are also great as the property is in a protected bay area. Sandy's Parish is residential so you will live more like a local than a tourist-which we loved. Bus stops are located just up the road as well as the bike trail converted rail line. Colin was super responsive prior to our stay and Gary helped with all needs once we arrived- (even went above and beyond and gave us a lift to the grocery store on arrival). The place is clean and well appointed. For our family stay, 3 bathrooms and 3 showers was a huge plus and had to find!

Beautiful house, good for a medium-sized group. Separate pool and pool house space were great to have, and secret little beach was fun as well. Great views. A little tricky to find / get picked up from without a car, but worth it if you want something out of town for a little more space.

A perfect piece of paradise! We found this sweet little cottage last minute and it was perfect. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the moment we entered, we felt right at home. Our hosts were so kind, we felt like family. There were drinks in the fridge and a variety of snacks and fruit on the table. It was much appreciated after a long journey. Tricia offered to take us to the grocery store to pick up some groceries and Dave took us to pick up our scooter for the week. They were both extremely accommodating. The kitchen is tiny but it has everything you need to make a meal. We loved having the outdoor dining set in our own little private garden. The railway trail that runs in front of the property is perfect for long walks. The view from the property is spectacular and we loved having use of the pool. The best beaches on the island are 15-20 minutes away. I highly recommend this cottage. We’re already planning on returning again next year.

We loved staying at the KC Cottage. The cottage itself was very comfortable and we immediately felt right at home. We had plenty of space and the unit itself was stocked with everything we needed and then some. The grounds were beautiful and we loved having access to the chairs, the dock, the paddleboards, and everything else included here. It was beautiful sitting down by the dock watching turtles and fish. The location of the unit was great. Close proximity to a bus stop that had pretty frequent buses into to St. George's or out to St. David's and Hamilton. It was easy to get in to town for groceries, restaurants, and exploring. Andrew is the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. He was incredibly helpful, proactive, stopped by to greet us on arrival and shortly before our departure, and was very communicative during our stay. He reached out on a rainy day to offer options for us and helped us arrange bus passes and transportation. Incredible host and incredible place to stay.

We had a wonderful week at Sue’s place. It was a real home from home, simply but beautifully kitted out, gorgeous surroundings and an absolute tonic. Sue couldn’t have been more responsive or approachable and we are looking forward to coming back. If you are looking for an oasis to relax and recharge we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We loved staying at Saltine. The house is pretty and very comfortable; the view is spectacular. We had some questions for Killian, and he always responded promptly. We walked into Hamilton a few times before we mastered the bus routes. The buses in Bermuda are great, and the locals are so helpful offering advice and directions. This was our fourth trip to Bermuda (last time was almost 30 years ago), and I was reminded just how truly lovely Bermudians are. Killian left a very comprehensive list of amenities and suggestions. We dined at his top three restaurant recommendations - all excellent! He recommended taking the bus to Warwick Long Bay and walking the coastal trail past small inlets and cozy beaches to Horseshoe Bay. A rocky overhang at one beach provided shade, and the surf was a bit more calm than at HB. All in all, Saltine was the perfect place to stay for a very lovely and relaxing holiday. We’ll be back.

A really nice property, spacious with a nice outdoor area and a short walk from St George's and right by a bus stop. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They also supplied a good amount of kitchen and bathroom supplies which is very helpful for a short stay.
