Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bernières-sur-Mer

we (3 adults, 2 children) stayed in the cottage for 2 nights and used it as a base for excursions in the area around the landing beaches. The view and location are the very best of the accommodation, even if there was everything else we needed in the accommodation. We enjoyed it very much!

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very comfortable and well-decorated. Finally, the house is well located, very central to shine in the different villages.

Privacy through upstairs living room, nice quiet garden behind house, everything I needed within walking distance. Getting a bike behind the house was difficult due to stairs, small bathroom, light living room.

The house presented well, it is spacious and conform to the pictures. Marine was very responsive and accomadated an earlier check in. Only down was the additional charges for the linen and beddings considering the rented price.

Fantastic location seconds from the beach on a very quiet lane. Very secure yard if you bring dogs! Everything you need in the apartment - it is very well fitted out. Clément is a caring and responsive host. I recommend!

Very beautiful house, perfectly located in the center of Deauville; a stone's throw from the beach. Thoughtfully designed decor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen. The small indoor pool is a very appreciable plus. Charming welcome by Natalia.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

Great bar, artisan charcuterie, patisserie and market right on the doorstep. Private rooftop terrace with top quality furniture. Parking through secure gates. The host sends helpful photos and messages for access and advice. Can't wait to return.

We are delighted to have stayed for 3 nights in Robin's accommodation. The accommodation is located in the center of Caen, close to shops, bars and restaurants: everything is within walking distance and it's really nice. The view of the castle is superb: waking up and falling asleep with this view makes this accommodation exceptional. The space is spacious and matches the photos. In addition, it is very clean and the good quality of the bedding is appreciable after a day of walking. The secure parking space offered a few minutes' walk away is a real plus! The reception for the handover of the keys was clear and appreciable. We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back here, if we return to Caen.

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

We stayed for a weekend with friends (12 people) at Villa Boubou where Philippe welcomed us warmly and we had a great time. Passionate about American vehicles, we were able to discuss the subject, a good time of sharing. The guardian cat of the😉😄 place is adorable and did not fail to welcome us and spend time with us. Top Amenities. Villa Boubou is a good alternative and well located for visiting museums and landing beaches. The house offered by Jules was incredible with a magnificent view a few kilometers from the beach… everything was perfect until the story of the place and the surroundings that his dad tells so well.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We spent Christmas and New Year at Marianne's place for 6 (+toddler and dog)! It is a beautiful,cozy and modern house with sea views! Each couple has their own area incl. Bathroom. The fully fenced garden was great for our dog and the fireplace brought the right mood! The beach is within walking distance! By car, you can quickly get to shopping and get to all the typical sights of Normandy relatively quickly We would definitely come back!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!
