The Ullswater View

MattRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

Yew Tree: Historic Georgian Farmhouse, Ellonby

The pictures don’t do this place justice! Myself and friends stayed while we took part in a fitness competition and this was the perfect place to come back to to chill out. We have a lovely dinner together as the kitchen had everything we needed to make a home cooked meal. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and the house was perfect. Would 100% recommend and definitely love to stay again in the future

The Buttery

This was one of those stay where you say, " Shoot, I wish we were staying longer at this place" what's to note that's important on top of everything being great with the whole stay, the bed was amazing! this tends to be rare on many Air B&B stays and is the one huge factor that a high end hotel stay will give you that may nice Air B&Bs will not. This place sets itself apart with a great Bed! surroundings a beautiful and the home itself is refined in details and has a TON of old world character with modern amenities. a wonderful place!

Cosy & Charming 17th C Cottage with Log Burner

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely, cosy cottage that had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated the helpful welcome pack and extra touches. Jontti was great communication-wise. We loved our stay and were sorry to say goodbye to the Gamekeeper's Cottage. Hopefully we'll get a chance to re-visit again.

Hawkhow Cottage, Glenridding

BridgetRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.
