What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Maria, Mark and their daughter were always attentive, friendly, warm and welcoming. The gite had everything you could think of and was perfectly located for biting the numerous châteaus in the region. pool and outside space was perfect!

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

Our daughter was afraid of one of the dogs, Philippe was very understanding and accommodating which allowed our daughter to enjoy her stay (and we thank Philippe for that). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Cinq Ruffe. Caroline and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

Beautiful house equipped and decorated with care and originality. The colors of the artist's paintings, the many patchwork works, all contribute to creating a very warm atmosphere, just like Gilles and Meg. The couple adapted to our schedules to welcome us and enthusiastically enlighten us on the sites to discover in their region. We simply regret not being able to enjoy this refreshing and soothing place for longer. We highly recommend it!

Monique has a nice house, we feel at home!! The cleanliness is impeccable, not to mention the equipment and furniture that are of quality, everything is functional to accommodate a couple or a small family, I have rarely seen an Airbnb so well equipped. We stayed there in hot weather, the house is so well insulated and has air conditioning, that we did not feel the heat at all, the outside is very pleasant for dining and the opposite is less. Thank you to Monique for her hospitality and kindness, we recommend it without hesitation and hope to have the opportunity to return.
