The place is just stunning. The rooms are well decorated, spacious and clean. Within the property there is an excellent restaurant that serves delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. Overall the staff and the place are superb! Warmly recommended 😀

Great!!! A place in the middle of a beautiful and quiet valley, in which we have rested and recharged the batteries! Both Aitzol and Ahinoa a love, always ready to attend and delight you with their home cooking and their desserts or their magnificent breakfasts. The truth has surprised me very much, I will definitely repeat the experience! Thank you for everything!

With our family (including two children from 3 and 5) we stayed with Aitzol and Ainhoa in the Casona for five nights and that was very nice! They cooked deliciously for us (both breakfast and dinner), the children were able to enjoy themselves in the garden and the Casona felt like a castle. But the most special was their hospitality, even to the children. They actually didn't want to leave. About the area also something than praise: we understand that they fell in love with this valley. We made beautiful hikes and also visited a small animal park and a cave on the advice of Aitzol and Ainhoa. Long story short: they were very nice days!! Only point of attention for families with (small) children: it is an old house and therefore a bit noisy. We have not been bothered by others, but it is useful if your own children are not too noisy (they did their best and we had no complaints, but still a small challenge :))

Aitzol and Ainhoa are extremely welcoming and always attentive hosts and I felt very comfortable in their beautiful home. The location is superb, in a small hamlet along the Soba valley with spectacular scenery all around and beautiful walks directly from the house. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served on the terrace, all delightful with fresh local ingredients. I look forward to returning!

We stayed 5 nights at Hanne’s & Jasper’s place and truly loved our time there. It’s a very cozy countryside house right by a blueberry field, and you are a short car ride away from all the stunning beaches. The hosts make the stay very special and we loved all their hidden gems. We can highly recommend this little paradise. Thanks for your amazing hospitality, Hanne & Jasper!

Cozy and spacious room, with taste in decoration, and perfectly clean. Lots of silence and intimacy. A varied common spaces to be, depending on the time of day, inside and especially outside the house: for the aperitif we sat in the shade of the bamboo forest, with a great breeze, and in the afternoon we had a good time chatting in the courtyard. A hearty and delicious breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, but leaving complete independence. At the farewell I bought a basket of produce from a local farmhouse at the farewell. Although the house is secluded, you reach the village on foot in 5 minutes (bar-restaurant with home-cooked, well-cooked food menu). Surroundings of all kinds (walks from the house, Indoor Cantabria, Santoña, Laredo and Noja beaches 15 minutes away, Santander and Bilbao 50 minutes away). A dream.

Correct accommodation. Everything worked as expected and both Kike, Noe and Mari Luz, very pending and friendly.

Wonderful stay. Beautifully arranged and with details. Very good firm mattresses. Lingerie in perfect condition. Prepared select food and welcome bottle of wine! We'll be back and happy to recommend!

We absolutely recommend this place !! It’s hard to say what we preferred as host were really nice, place, bedroom and bathroom are really good and breakfast soooo good with fresh bread and homemade jam every morning. The environment is awesome and peaceful. A relaxing stay in the middle of the nature is waiting for you !!

Family weekend in Las Gallinas de Maria. We booked 4 rooms, 3 doubles and 1 quadruple. Every room is different and all has its charm; there's no shortage of detail in any of them. Very quiet area in the middle of nature, where in the morning you only hear the singing of birds. The hosts, both Maria and Unai, have made us feel at home and have also advised us very well to get to know the area and to enjoy their gastronomy. They prepared the two days a spectacular breakfast for us. When good things come together and want to please, the result is unbeatable. Thank you for everything, we will visit you again.
