Refuge de La Boire is an alpine chalet located at an altitude of 1900 m in the Massif de l 'Oisans in the Alps. The south-facing chalet overlooks a wild valley. A remarkable site for its panoramas (mountains,glaciers, mountain pastures...) , its wilderness (marmots, chamois, eagles, vultures), its hikes from the cottage, its tranquility ( it is the only cottage in the valley !). An unusual stay in the Alps, the chalet welcomes 6 people, in an authentic and warm setting!

My house is located in a small village called Clavans le Bas at 1400 m altitude in the beautiful Ferrand Valley. Ideal for mountain lovers, hikers, cyclists (electricity supply post at 50m). It is not recommended for small children ( steep stairs and unsecured windows). No private garden, nature all around. Car mandatory. No shops in the village. Nearest shops 12 km. There is however a nice auberge for good foods and drinks. No WIFI (available at auberge and mairie)

The apartment is composed of a hall, a bathroom + toilet, a living room (kitchen and sofa bed) as well as a bedroom with a baby cot. To access it, you need to go through the living room. A terrace in front of the apartment allows you to eat outside in front of the Meije. A barrier protects from the ravine but toddlers must remain under parental supervision. The apartment above is regularly occupied by the owners.
