Wow. This seaside cottage is simply amazing. Its charming, homely and authentic, nothing grand, nothing fake, nothing ostentatious, but tastefully decorated (the attention to detail is perfection) and with everything one needs, ample plug points, extra comfy blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The fireplace creates the perfect ambiance for winter days and cosy nights. The ocean view is magical. Sitting and reading while listening to the ocean on an extraordinary long builtin couch was pure bliss. We were lucky to have two beautiful sunny days despite it being May and used the fireplace area at the back for a family braai which was more affirmation this house is perfect for every season. To us with all its character and charm this is the quintessential South African beach cottage..

If you’re reading this review, it means you’re considering this rental. If this beach-front property is available, don’t waste any more time and simply rent it! My wife and I have rented AirBnB properties around the world and this rental was spectacular. One of the best places, if not the best place, we’ve ever rented. Mary-Louise is a very responsive host, her place is spotless clean, large with 2 bedrooms and has a multi-million dollar view. Only steps away from the ocean, falling asleep to the ocean was so relaxing and the only thing we wish was to have been able to stay longer than just 3 nights. My work colleagues was raised in Cape Town and recommended Camps Bay over the V&A area and we were so happy we listened to him and stayed on Glen Beach. Thanks so much Mary-Louise for an amazing stay!!!!! Should we ever return to Cape Town, we will definitely be a repeat guest.

..ended up spending 18 wonderful days with lots of reason to be there again. Babette and Cheryl are warm and hospitable. The air is breathable and believe me the house is a perfect escape to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty of the ocean. It’s truly a slice of heaven!

We loved our stay here while we were visiting Cape Town. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy it. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked for our stay, and Naomi was very kind and attentive. There is plenty of space for anywhere from a couple to a large family to stay. We will definitely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Cape Town!

What a beautiful house - so well equipped and stylish as well as being homely. The views are splendid and the balcony a treat. I accomodated nine of us with ease both in the bedrooms offered and in the living spaces. We would love to return one day.

So peaceful. So comfortable. A seaside cottage. Ocean view. Creative & comfortable seaside decor. The kids loved the beach toys and stone garden where they spent hours. Snorkel masks provided for Windmill Beach which is across the road. Where quaint & class meet. We felt safe too.

Really amazing house for a family getaway. Plenty of rooms, the most gorgeous bathroom with outdoor shower is not to be missed. Felt like home away from home.

Die Aussicht auf das Meer und auf die Bucht würde auch 6 Sterne bekommen, falls das möglich wäre. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit eigenem Bad. Wir hatten zu viert reichlich Platz. Der Pool mit 'Cabrio-Dach' macht Spaß und hat den gleichen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer wie das Wohnzimmer. Insgesamt trotz des gehobenen Preises eine runde Sache. Wenn jemand gerne und viel selber kochen möchte, ist die Küche nur bedingt geeignet - trotzdem 5 Sterne, da die 4 Sterne für die Küche von den 6 Sternen für den Ausblick ausgeglichen werden.

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had the most incredible stay and cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Rozanne made us feel completely at home — she’s a truly exceptional host: warm, thoughtful, and always available if we needed anything. The home itself is stunning, with stylish and beautifully curated interior décor that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The indoor fireplace was a cozy highlight, and we spent unforgettable dinners at the indoor Braai (bbq) enjoying great food. And the view — absolutely to die for. Waking up to the sight of Springboks and Zebras roaming in the distance felt like something out of a dream. Despite its elegant design, the house was surprisingly child-friendly, making it an ideal getaway for our whole family. Every detail was considered. We’re already thinking of our return — next time, to catch the whales! Thank you again, Rozanne, for everything.

One of the most stunning airbnb’s I have stayed in!!! The photos are gorgeous, but in person is even better. The sunsets here are unmatched, the outdoor space is larger than what we imagined, and the inside is cozy with lots of amenities! The tap water is safe to drink and the security to the place was great. The driveway is quite steep but we got our rental car up it no problem! Anthony was fantastic and always answered so fast! He was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Thalassa! Beautiful beach cabin with everything we needed. Awesome location and so peaceful. Sally was a great host and pro-active in all the communication.

Not just is the surroundings exquisite, the unit is just as depicted if not better. It is close to the beach and everything else you may need. The veranda was lovely to sit and enjoy meals and company.

Eva’s house is right on the rocks where you can even hear the local seals calling. The house is decorated to the highest standard by someone with a great love of art. Unfortunately, during our stay it was quite windy and we were not able to utilise the outside areas as much as we wanted, but I do think that this house would be very cosy and beautiful even in winter.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed beach home. Carla is a communicative host who responded quickly to requests. Well located very close to the sea and the cliff path. Would definitely return.

The accomodation was one of the best I have ever had. The views from the cottage extraordinary. The cottage is decorated so tastefully. The colours choosen, the paintings and the deco , everything with the personal touch you do not find often in a BNB. Also equipped with everything in the kitchen and bathroom. Thank you very much. We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Cottage and found the house very comfortable. The location is great, with a short walk down the seaside. The views of the sea and the mountains from the 2 balconies were the star of the weekend. We enjoyed spending time at Silversands beach and the Betty's Bay main beach. The house was very neat and tidy; the rooms were a good size and the layout was perfect. We had a nice lunch at Kabeljou's at the waterfront in Kleinmond, only a short drive away, and also walked around the local stores. We had a great dinner at The Cork, in Pringle Bay, also just a short drive away. I'll definitely be returning to the Sea Cottage, Ann was so helpful, and her communication was 10/10.
