This charming cocoon-like house dates from the 14th century and has been entirely renovated for more than 2 years by the best craftsmen of the city with all the noblest materials, such as zellige (handmade tiles), cedar wood, sculpted plaster, tadelakt and wrought iron. The lamps are made of bronze and are totally hand carved, the leather poufs and sofas are from local tanneries.

Wow... this apartment was amazing. It was beautiful, safe and convenient. The host was so responsive and helped me. If you are looking for a great place to stay, this apartment is it!!! The bed was so comfortable and the apartment is close to everything. If you have a rental car, there is plenty of parking. I highly recommend staying here and the price was perfect. Stunning Retreat in Fez Medina with Views & Pool

I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!
