Manuel Antonio honeymoon jungle retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Jefferson is a great host with an amazing home. The home is so private and peaceful. We swam in the pool while watching monkeys swinging in the trees. It was the coolest experience ever. Jefferson was great and communicating and helped us with any questions we had leading up to our trip. His concierge team is also top notch. They helped us plan things to do throughout our trip, recommended some great restaurants, and communicated with us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb to stay at, and will definitely be returning next time we make the trip to Costa Rica!

Lapa Villa 2: Heated Pool, Wildlife & Beach Trail!

KristinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I'm so happy we chose to stay at Lapa Villas for our first trip to Manuel Antonio. I can't say enough wonderful things about this home!! it was pristine, and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking Carli was truly amazing. She was so responsive to all my questions and gave us fabulous recommendations for things to do places to eat and helped with all our transportation needs. She was wonderful and we had the most amazing trip. We would absolutely go back and stay again.

Casa Cacao

HilaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An amazing work of art. Staying in the house was an experience in it's own. Come here if you don't plan to be too busy in the area. We saw more monkeys from the yard or walking the neighborhood than we did at the park. We spent hours enjoying the pool, the patios, and the house it self. Mini Price grocery has pretty good prepared foods in the back and we had a few dinners at home so we didn't have to go back out. Communication was great and he gave us great recommendation for local tours, including their very own night tour. The jungle is loud and the upstairs room has screens for walls. If you are not a noise machine sleeper, bring ear plugs or be prepared. We loved it. The room will multiple beds on the first floor is much quieter.

New listing | Ocean, jungle, sky! WiFi -oh my!

KatieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our host was very accommodating, flexible and gave grey recommendations. The home was stocked with things we would need such as plenty of linens, and additional treats like coffee and some complementary snacks. The location was walkable to several restaurants and shops. Overall, a very comfortable stay, in a wonderful location.

Casa Valentina/Ocean&SunsetView/BreakfastIncluded*

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I have a hard time putting into words how magical this place was. When we first entered through to the deck, it didn’t even look real. From that deck with the lovely infinity pool we saw squirrel monkeys, a howler monkey, capuchin monkeys, toucans, scarlet tanagers, hummingbirds, macaws and more. Breakfast every morning was a huge perk and my younger sister in particular loved getting pancakes everyday. Just to note, there is still construction on what seems to be two nearby properties, but still an amazing stay (one of the fabric fences to block construction view is a favorite path of the squirrel monkeys though a side benefit)! Still a magical stay and a great way to celebrate my younger sister’s high school graduation.

Spectacular Beachfront Home in Playa Palo Seco

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This house is beautiful. It had a fully stocked kitchen, lots of indoor and outdoor space, and feels very private. The pool was great and the outdoor shower and bathroom made cleaning off sand and keeping the house and pool clean easy. The beach felt like a private beach with almost no other people as far as the eye can see. The surf is strong, but the kids had a great time boogie boarding, but do take caution not to go out too far. There are lots of friendly dogs in the neighborhood that roam, but they didn’t bother us. It is about 20 mins from town, so expect to have to drive a bit for amenities. That was fine for us because we were looking for peace and quiet and got it! Comfortable and beautiful house. I recommend.

New luxury home with breathtaking views, Gemela II

SueRating, 5 stars4 days ago
It is hard to describe the beauty of this house. We were absolutely stunned. Each morning was a gift to walk outside to that view. We were so glad that this was the end of our trip and we had built in some R&R. A word of advice… don’t plan so much that you don’t have time to enjoy the house. We used the pool, sat outside and watched the clouds come in, grilled some wonderful steak and just enjoyed la pura vida!

Manuel Antonio Stay-Chill Bar, Views, 420 Friendly

GabrielaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We went to Quepos for the first time and let me tell you; Roy was incredible host! I’ve never been to Costa Rica, much less Quepos and he was so welcoming!! I’ve never meet a host so friendly, charismatic, and polite. He really took the time to know us and let us know everything about Quepos and Costa Rica! Roy personally took us to Los Campesinos Ecolodge which was such a unique experience. Roy really showed us a personalised experience. I will NEVER forget Rose Apartments and Roy. He really made everything so special. The apartment was so beautiful with lots of nature surrounding it. His dog Brunita was so sweet and welcoming too. Honestly i would recommend this place to anybody that wants to come to Quepos! I WILL definitely be coming back to Rose Apartments!! Thank you so much for everything Roy!!

Casa Nina

Amazing place to stay up in the jungle above Quepos. In the morning and evening we had monkeys visit us. Be aware that the downstairs does not have AC, but the AC in the 2nd floor rooms work perfectly.

Casa Capuchin, Ocean view Home

DougRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Staying at Alex’s place wasn’t just a vacation — it was a full-on experience. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were living the lifestyle of the rich and famous: jaw-dropping ocean views, daily visits from playful Capuchin monkeys, and even maid service that made everything effortless. The home itself is gorgeous — spacious, comfortable, and designed to let you soak in the beauty of Costa Rica at every turn. The location is perfect too, just a short, easy walk to great restaurants and shops (though honestly, it was hard to ever want to leave the house!). We did have an issue with the master bedroom AC during our stay, but Alex handled it with total professionalism, fairness, and genuine care. His responsiveness made all the difference. Bottom line: this place is so much more than just a great home base — it’s an experience you’ll remember forever. Can’t recommend it enough!

Casa Bosque for 6 people

ClaireRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This place looks exactly like the photos. It’s very modern and clean. Good driving distance to restaurants and beaches. The air conditioning worked very well. Beds were very comfortable. You should note- I didn’t see- you have to leave the main house to walk to the master suite. It’s a short covered walk, but involves multiple doors. If my mom wasn’t staying in the other bedroom, it would have been a little bit of a pickle not sleeping in the same structure as our young daughter. We enjoyed having this as a home base while we stayed for a few days and explored the area with my young daughter and mom. Thank you!!!

2BR Casita Cinco in Quepos / Manuel Antonio

CaylaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My brother and I had a lovely time staying at Casita Cinco in Quepos. The location was perfect—close to Manuel Antonio and convenient for exploring everything the area has to offer. The casita was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The fresh fruit provided was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch! We had the pleasure of briefly meeting Dorit in person, and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. She even recommended a local waterfall, which we got to explore on our last day in the area—it was a great way to use up a bit of free time in-between destinations! Highly recommend this spot if you’re visiting the area!

New! Luxury Jungle Villa with breathtaking views

LutherRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Truly a stunning home in a very quiet, upscale cul-de-sac community. Views were breathtaking, and the home well-equipped for lazy days without big agendas. Dominical is cute and inviting, with plenty to eat and a solid infrastructure for booking adventures of multiple varieties. Sensitive travelers might want to be advised that power and water outages are part of the realities of living in such a gorgeous, remote location. Mattresses are quite firm, with the loft bed probably best suited to a child or other floor-friendly individual. Kitchen was not particularly well-appointed, so bring oil/butter and perhaps even a favorite chef's knife if you plan to cook in. Local farmer's markets do make this an appealing option, although local restaurants were generally quite decent, even coming from NYC. Above all, this is a truly impressive holiday experience, mainly for the incredible views from all floors and the abundance of wildlife right in your own back-yard. Highly recommended.

Casa Bellamar sunset & jungle views - Fast WIFI

GeneaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
WOW! This was definitely more than what we expected. The house was amazing and we were able to see so much wildlife just from the pool while hanging out as a family. Susan was exceptional from the time we booked to us pulling out the driveway to head back to the airport. The excursions she booked for us were the BEST!!! Mimi the housekeeper was so friendly and did an amazing job. The pool guy and lawn guy were super friendly. Also, chillax bistro just a short walk away was delicious. Highly recommend staying here for the best Costa Rican experience!!!

Walk down to the beach & walk up the restaurants!

RyanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place was wonderful. My dad visited La Fortuna the same week I came to manuel antonio and he paid hundreds to see animals while I just sat on the porch. The titi monkeys typically come around 4pm and the toucans show up around 10:30am. Highly recommend looking up their sounds so you'll know when they're outside. The best part about this place is the road it's on dead ends into a beach (a 2 minute drive down the hill) where you can park on the sand and it's quite literally paradise. Not sure if a 4x4 is required but I highly recommend it. The only complaints I have are the pool and grill being somewhat dirty, some of the lights didnt work, and the downstairs shower head is a bit wonky (this is being replaced) but overall these things weren't a big deal. This is a PRIME location and Tracy (Airbnb house manager) was super helpful. Amazing views are everywhere. The only thing that could beat it is a beach view from the Airbnb but don't think you can beat this place for the price

Sunset House Costa Rica

AbbyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
After a fiasco with our original Airbnb, I messaged Nicholas and Gelena to see if we could check in as soon as possible. They messaged back within just a couple of minutes and said we could check in within the hour. The house was beautiful. We saw all kinds of birds from the pool; my favorite was the visits by the parrots every evening around 5pm. The location was perfect. 30 minutes to Quepos and 30 minutes to Uvita. The closest beach, playa Matapalo, has sloths in the trees every morning. We got some of the best pictures and videos there! If we ever come back to Costa Rica, this house would be our top choice!! If you’re thinking about booking, do it!! Just make sure you have a rental car with 4wd as you’ll need it to get up to the house.

Casa Bosque Verde - Hidden Oasis w/ Private Pool

JulieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We absolutely loved staying here. Everything was magical and sitting outside was relaxing. We saw so many animals while staying there and the kids loved the pool! We had a grocery store and Soda walking distance away. Antonio was a gem. He did not speak English but he made sure everything was pristine. He is a true gem and willing to help direct parking and open the gate for us Some tips to help others….everything here is similar to the states. No suicide showers and lots of power plugs. Really the only issue we had is the upper bedrooms were too light and it gets bright early. Wasn’t a huge problem for us because we got up early to do activities while it was cool. We loved our stay! This place has ALL of the Pura Vida vibes.

Villa Tekla, Costa Rican paradise!

Ruben FernandoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very good place a few minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. Tamara's property seemed excellent: full of trees and vegetation, good views, it felt like you are in the jungle. We saw toucans, raccoons and white face monkeys from the terrace and living room. The house is spacious and has many living areas. The pool was excellent. we really liked the living room and the hammock. the very equipped kitchen. The only thing is the warmth that you feel in the rooms. The fans and the windows help but we arrived in the mere summer where there was no wind, so it costs a little to sleep the first night. The second rain so I drink a lot. I recommend Tamara's house 100%, it is an experience and it is very well located. Thank you for everything!

Casa Mamacita, Costa Rica.

JodineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Casa Mamacita is a dream!! Beautiful, clean, well equipped and spacious house with a lovely pool right out the back door! A visit every afternoon from the monkeys as they moved through the trees in the backyard was a special perk 😁 Dennis was great at making sure we were set up for our stay and very responsive when we had any questions. Very friendly and great to chat with about the area. Beautiful home in a great location, we would certainly go back!!

John and Anette were always very friendly. Always attentive and communicative hosts. The house is even nicer than what is shown in the pictures. With spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and beds. It's also very cool. It is close to restaurants, the beach and the national park by car. Thank you very much for everything!
