Canyon Creek Cabins: #2

This small cabin for two is perched on a granite ledge, overlooking a rushing river. It is comprised of two small structures connected by a deck. The first structure is a converted shipping container that has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and outdoor patio. The second structure contains a cozy sleeping cabin, glass sunroom, and stone fireplace. The hot tub is nestled in to the woods overlooking the river, accessible by a lighted trail. The area: The cabin is a one hour drive from Seattle, and just minutes outside of Granite Falls, WA. This area is often refered to as the gateway to the Cascades, and the cabin is just a 20-minute drive to some of the best hiking and most beautiful natural features that Washington has to offer. Some of our favorite hikes include: Gothic Basin, Big Four Ice Caves, Mt. Pilchuck Fire Lookout, Lake Twenty-Two, and Heather Lake. Our cabins are in a small and private community. While we encourage guests to visit the nearby park and to explore the trails on the Cascade Loop Highway, we ask guests to please refrain from wandering the private roads of the community, as the neighbors appreciate their privacy. Frequently Asked Questions: Do you allow dogs? — Yes. We are dog friendly, but do not allow other pets. Can I check-in early or check-out late? — No. Our cabins are often booked back-to-back, and our cleaners need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest. There is not a good area to hang out in while the cleaning is being finished so it's best to arrive at check-in time. What's in the kitchen? — The kitchen is small and stocked with the basics: stovetop, microwave, pots, dishes, spices, dry goods. One thing to take note of when planning your meals is that there is not an oven at this cabin, however we do have a BBQ grill. What's the coffee situation? — We keep Stamp Act coffee, an electric grinder, and a stainless steel french press at the cabin. What's a good restaurant or bar nearby? — We recommend spending as much time at the cabin and in nature as possible. So, plan to bring food and drinks with you. Local favorites in town include Omega pizza (takout pizza and salads) and the Spar Tree (local bar).

Hillcrest Loft

A former artist's studio in the beautiful hillcrest park neighborhood of Mount Vernon. This spacious 550 square foot, second floor loft has 4 skylights that bring lots of natural light. It has its own entrance, a dining area, sitting area with fold-out couches, kitchenette and queen bed. Close to family-friendly activities, including Hillcrest Park playgrounds, public transport, and the city center. This studio is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Cedar Hollow - Sauna/Cold Plunge + Hot Tub

Nestled in the mossy covered forest of the Cascade Mountains, the home offers you a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The Nut House

Glamping in the trees. Come experience the beauty and serenity of being in the forest in a unique craftsman treehouse on beautiful Camano Island just an hour and ten minutes north of Seattle. Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

The Alpaca Retreat is located on 100 acres of private farm and forest land with sweeping views of Port Susan and Mt. Rainier. The newly renovated 3600 sq. foot house, spaciously accommodates up to 10 people and is located just 5 minutes from Stanwood. The location is quiet and relaxing with no visible neighbors. The Granary is a recently converted 110 year old grain shed (remodeled Summer 2020). It features a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, bedroom loft and beautiful .75 bath. Located on the West side of Mount Vernon, it is minutes from I-5, yet situated on a 40-acres of farmland, next to an original barn and behind the main farmhouse. Good WiFi for work, ramp access and a ground-level hide-a-bed. Large West-facing deck and hot tub to enjoy sunsets.
