Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
“This is a great home base from which to explore the island. The conveniences of town are a short, beautiful drive away, and Chip’s place is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Such a lovely beach cabin on a serene, thoughtfully cared for property. Thank you, Chip! We loved your place and hope to return!”

“This was our first Airbnb experience and what a pleasant surprise. The hosts were gracious and kind and made you feel like family. We walked around the grounds and enjoyed the view of the valley and all the orchards. We hung out at the pool and chilled in the zero gravity chairs. The room was stocked with snacks, beverages, a microwave and fridge. There were more amenities to use however the view, the frog pond and the pool was enough for us. We left feeling rejuvenated and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”

There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
“I had the most lovely stay at Brian’s cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated, cozy, comfortable, and so convenient for accessing Olympic National Park. The kitchenette included pots, pans, and other essential utensils so I could cook small meals. Also included a coffee maker and coffee grounds so I could make fresh coffee in the morning. The views from the cottage were beautiful. Brian was always quick with replying both before and throughout my stay. Would highly highly recommend Brian’s cottage!!”
