The village is named after Sir Titus Salt who built a textile mill, known as Salts Mill and this village on the River Aire back in the 1800s. There are many reasons why you should visit Saltaire from the spectacular architecture, to the independent shops and restaurants scattered around the village.

This is a beautiful country cottage. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a few years ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. If you like minimalist style this may not be for you, however if you love character, cosyness and a home away from home, welcome to my cottage!

And if you're into walking and taking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, then look no further, you could start with the Calderdale Way or the stunning North Yorkshire National Park which is only an hours drive away.

The house is part of the utopian vision of Saltaire created by Sir Titus to create a community village to house and support the mill workers.
