This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

This is our second time staying here. This place is a GEM! We love the dogs and of course the view is amazing with the birds and wildlife!

Our family thrived at Liz’s cabin! The river was perfect for my younger kids—calm and shallow in most areas, great for first-time kayakers. For more adventure, we tried paddling upstream, which was a fun challenge and a great life lesson in perseverance! Downstream and around the cabin is smooth and peaceful, perfect for kids. I recommend bringing a cooler with simple meal ingredients. I packed sandwich supplies but wished I’d brought more—vodka pasta would be ideal here! I made a quick run into town for spaghetti, but options are limited (as Liz notes in her very helpful guide). We also had dinner at Pokegama Lakeside—great food, a beautiful lake view, and an authentic Native American canoe on display! Liz has created a truly magical place. The natural landscaping, cozy cabin details, and high-quality linens made it so comfortable. Thank you, Liz, for such a special stay!

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin! Our family felt right at home. We brought our own boat- the ramp is close and private dock was perfect! Would highly recommend this cabin! 😊

We loved our stay at this beautiful and very private cabin. Obviously the photos are gorgeous and we knew we were going to love the overall feel, but it truly is wonderful being there. The giant windows open to the lake view and surrounding woods is heaven and are the part that I miss the most now that we're home. We really liked the fact that the cabin has a lived in feel (in the best way). I was worried that it would be TOO perfect and I wouldn't want to touch anything. LOVED the sauna so so much and it was beyond amazing that our lab was able to come with us. They had all the kitchen appliances/tools you'd need and having life jackets to use was awesome. I think reviews are such a good way to gain feedback from guests so I'll just list a few improvements/preferences here: softer sheets, a scissors, and a mop/swiffer to keep the floors clean. This cabin was very very tranquil and quiet during the week which is exactly what we were hoping for. We'd love to come back in the winter!

Awesome host! Was only there for a quick visit with coworkers but this would be a PERFECT retreat for an outdoorsy family. Will book again!

This is a peaceful location with various wildlife. The cabin is a short distance to the lake and there are areas nearby to explore, including other lakes. We especialy enjoyed the fire pit and the quietness on the lake.

A very good place to base exploration of the surrounding area. Has all the amenities that parents with young children need including a folding crib, high chair, playground, and a safe interior space for them to play. Very well-appointed interior, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We plan to stay here every time we need a place to stay around here.

We wanted a weekend getaway to take our young boys fishing for their first time and this certainly fit the criteria. We were unlucky with not so great weather while we were there so didn’t fully get to enjoy the outdoors like we wanted to but we toughed it out to fish anyways and they sure were biting! We caught several pan fish, one walleye, and one big bass. The home was very nice and well kept with plenty of indoor entertainment to keep us busy.

It's always enjoyable having a host that communicates effectively; Kaity was one of those hosts. Her welcome note was thorough and provided all the information we needed for both check-in and check-out. The home is adorable. The massive windows in the main gathering space gave you the 'full north woods' feel. Kitchen is smallish but we certainly appreciated how well stocked it was with all the appropriate cooking utensils. Providing a drip coffee pot and pour over was a great touch; we used them both. Bed mattresses were awesome - nice and firm. We were there for the mountain biking and boy did we have fun on so many of the nearby trails. Bottom line: It's a nice place to getaway to.

The stay was amazing, I ended up checking in late, so it was dark. But waking up in the morning it was mind blowing scenery. The pictures don’t do justice on how pretty the cabin and view from the porch are. Very nice and clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was exactly as described. A great destination for 4 wheeling. ATV or UTV, casual and challenging trails in the area.

It was just what I needed, a peaceful setting for relaxing. Very quiet, next to no traffic. Getting to the lake is via a steepish hill. The house was exactly as described and comfortable.

Very peaceful and private getaway. Fully stocked kitchen. Well water is not drinkable, but the host warned us of that and there are places close by to purchase drinking water Would definitely go back!

Jennifer was very flexible and was quick to respond. The cabin was clean and very comfortable.

Enjoyed our second stay at Don’s cozy cabin. Long Lake is our favorite vacation spot! Great fishing, boating, and simply enjoying the sights. We’ll be back!

Great place to stay! Deb was great with instructions and very responsive to any questions! She was very informative and welcoming! Very cozy atmosphere, with anything you could need. We loved our stay and had a great weekend! She also had set out snacks for us which was so nice with the kids. One thing to note, they did have us wash the sheets and remake the beds which made things a little difficult the day we left since some of us had some long drives. It delayed us by about 2 hours. Other than that we absolutely recommend staying here!

This was our second stay at this beautiful lake house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect this time, the house more than made up for it—it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the hosts' recommendation to check out the local indoor pool, which was a fun way to spend a rainy few hours. The lake is incredibly clear and peaceful—such a calming view to wake up to. Our kids had a blast fishing and paddling around in the paddle boat. The whole trip flew by way too fast, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again. A new local favorite for us this trip was Redemption Cafe—an absolutely adorable outdoor spot that’s perfect for a coffee break, ice cream, and antiques. Highly recommend stopping by! This house continues to be a special retreat for our family!

We loved staying here ! Beautiful area! Drove to the boat landing not far away to enjoy a day of ice fishing!

We loved the scenery and how peaceful and quiet it was. Every evening we spent time on the patio sitting around the fire table enjoying the solitude. The house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable. Our group of six all stated that they would like to stay here again. The host was wonderful, always quick with a response to any questions .

I have stayed here twice. Very clean, scenic, nice cabin. Excellent hosts and great experience!

This is our third year renting Cindy’s place. It is do cozy and clean. A well setup kitchen for cooking. A great deck overlooking the river. We plan to come back again.
