Family-friendly holiday rentals in Birmingham

We had a lovely relaxing time at Swallows Cottage, Claire was very kind and let us into the property earlier than the normal 3pm check in, which was great. The cottage was lovely and clean, very big and spacious. On the Thursday evening we went into the hot tub room, we were unable to get the bubbles working, so we messaged Claire around 8-9pm and she replied right away with instructions on how to release the lock on the controls. The cottage is a prefect location for a quite switch off time away, lots of birds and rabbits, which is very cute. I think this is one of the most rural places I have ever stayed in. The road down to the cottage is very picturesque, however a little bumpy as it goes onto a farm gravel road with quite a few large pot holes, so drive very slowly. We would defiantly stay here again.

Lovely little place with beautiful views, very peaceful (we hardly saw another human the whole time we were there). The little added touches were lovely. It was a little smaller than we thought it would be, but we hadn’t done a glamping pod before so I guess we didn’t know what to really expect. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub on the evenings, definitely an added bonus!! And the welcome and greeting was really lovely and helpful with recommendations of local restaurants :)

We had a fantastic stay at Lavender Lodge. We were between moving houses and the property provided us with the comfort, privacy and tranquility we needed. Nicola was very accommodating and very responsive to our questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at the pool house was great. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and clearly look after the place very well. The house itself is lovely: clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a holiday. It's also very private, being away from the main residence and surrounded by peaceful greenery with a wrap-around garden. The outside space is very relaxing, with several dining areas and roaming space, and it's also secure for dogs. The pool is fantastic and definitely the main attraction in good weather; it's clean, large enough for several people, a good depth for swimming but most adults can also safely stand, self-enclosed for extra safety, and just as private as the rest of the place. If you can pry yourself away from the water, there's also lovely country walks and farms in the surrounding area, and amenities are a short drive away. We definitely plan on visiting again.

My third visit to Adriana's place. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Balsall Common has all the facilities needed for an easy stay including some great places to eat and easy access by train or road to Birmingham and Coventry. I'll be back.

Jessica was very responsive and accommodating with our check in time. The place was easy to find and meet our needs. She even brought us an extra towel to use for the dog as it was going to be rainy. The back garden was perfect for our dog to stretch his legs (and the main reason we booked).

We had a great stay at Phil’s place, everything we needed. Especially good that breakfast was included. We only attempted the drive once as it was too steep for us. We parked on the road for the rest of our stay but never had a problem finding a spot. We will certainly stay again next time we’re in the area visiting friends & family.

Very responsive host. Clear instructions for check in. We had 1 issue with the shower but this was sorted the same day which we were really grateful for as this was a Sunday. Really happy with our stay was perfect for what we needed. Thank you again

Lovely, comfortable and clean place. Perfect location for Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and Royal Leamington Spa. Walking distance to Warwick town centre and the canal. Dawn was at communication and gave clear instructions for a smooth stay

Beautiful location, the canal views from the kitchen were stunning and we enjoyed our mornings watching the ducks and wildlife. Loved the tea, coffee, mini milk and biscuits in the mini hamper, lovely touch. The beds were comfy and overall it was a lovely stay. We were in an ideal location with the shops being close by, walking into the town wasn't too far and the train station was within walking distance.

Very much enjoyed our stay, super friendly and helpful host. Lovely location with several good spots for food, with options for a night out. Would return again!

Manuel was very communicative and the location was perfect. There is a Tesco downstairs which was very convenient. This is a great place to be central and easily navigate around Birmingham. The flat had many amenities and was super easy to get in to. I'd definitely recommend this place. Thank you Manuel!
